Capital One Bank Ave J, Brooklyn

Don't come here if you're in a rush. Paid to get over there and then had to leave without being seen after waiting for 20 minutes and there was only one person ahead of me when I arrived. One teller at counter as well- despite the line building behind me. Staff not trained on the Technology they use. Won't be coming back here again.

I use this bank at least once a month, the ATM I'm able to take off more than $500 without paying a fee and pay my credit card bill all in one stop. On this day I walk up to the bank and through the window there's a homeless man with a shopping cart eating and drinking in there. (So uncomfortable) I am a female that is pregnant numerous men walked in and out without a problem but something has to be done

Talked to their business banker on the phone and made an appointment with him to open a business account. After I got there, I was told that banker had gone to lunch. Other bankers there or the manager didn’t care to help me at all. In general, I’ve been in this branch 10-12 times - rude Tellers who even don’t know how to greet a customer, incompetent Bankers that have no clue about banking, and careless Manager who needs training in branch management.

One of the worst service in the whole planet. If u reasing my comment please i beg u. Never never mever open ur account in this bank. There are thousand ot other banks out there. There is citi ctosse the street and chase. Please fo there. Nevver open any kind of checking account in this bank. They will hold ur mony for no reason and they will not tell u why they hold ur money. If you are existing checking customer. Please close ur account and go to soem other bank. If they refuse to pay u from your checing account for any reason just call 911 to make a police report against bank for holding ur money illegally.

Very bad and very rude customer service.I had scheduled appointment for opening business checking account.I was denied service because i was few minutes late.The parking is very tough in this area so that's why i got late few minutes.I explained employee name STAR i was late because of parking she said she don't care.I request her please take me even not a single customer in whole branch.she denied and said reschedule it.Thease kind of employees rune reputation of the organization.capitalone should have to think about it what they hired.It's not only me alot of people making complaint about her.

I traveled 55 miles to get here I got here exactly at closing time unfortunately. I explained that my gas was low and that my car may shut off and how important it was for me to get the money. Guess what ...... I’m unable to do so 🗣I’m now stranded in Brooklyn in this darn heat . Glad I don’t live in New York . I rather it had been closed than to be open to these heartless souls.

This Capital One branch on 1223 Avenue J is subpar. I was told checks would be rushed to me and arrive in 2-3 days, if not longer. The person at window (whose name is Star) clearly lied and looked at me with a straight face. Still waiting for checks from accounts I stopped by to inquire about. Avoid this (and any Capital One Bank), in my humble opinion.

At 3:00, on an ordinary Tuesday during normal hours they were closed and both ATMs were off. I actually came to use the ATM but had to turn around and go back home.

Wonderful bank, professional staff, perfect service. The motto of this department is "Client - above all."
