Capital One Bank Hillside Ave, Queens

This place just gets worse. How do you have two tellers working during this time (COVID19) when we’re tying to get people in /out. Parking lot is full of customers cars everywhere. People waiting out the door and only people working are two tellers? Line is out the door to the bus stop! Time for the manager to get back to roots and get on that register. Ridiculous!!! Thank you for closing all the other local branches. The money spent on the mid century modern renovation could have gone toward an other bank teller or two. Thank you so much for closing the Drive through for another ATM???We’re trying to go contactless, a drive through would have been great! I went and deleted my old post just so I can update a new one... that’s how irritated I am.

Very nice, spacious, open and inviting branch. It’s an older building with a true “luxury” feeling and the banking experience is as expected. I am disappointed that Capital One’s have cut back on their complimentary tea/ coffee. Variety of drink options whilst waiting are minimal. I’m also disappointed Capital One gave up on mortgages. I’ve been banking with Capital One over 10 years and I appreciate the service.

The main issue that I have with this bank is there ATM never works on any holidays. Multiple times I came to get the money here on major holidays and thier ATM was not working. It looks like they are shutting it down on holidays.I used to go to the Winchester capital one bank and they shut dwon that branch. Now all the customers from that branch and the union turnpike branch customers goes to this one. They don't have enough associates to accommodate all these customers inside this branch.

Incredibly poor service. ATM machine frequently down. Nearest location guide directed me to a branch that's closed. Incredibly long lines with few tellers. Very aggravating.

If a branch manager is reading this review please contact me immedietley my husband goes to this branch multiple times a week and gets treated horribly by the tellers especially the two Indian looking males with glasses and beards management pls contact me immedietley or let me contact you to let you know what type of people are representing you!

Closing so many branches gives customers a very bad feeling about your institution’s long term stability. That’s compounded by the constantly changing branch personnel and understaffing. Sorry but you need to serve your customers adequately! That’s the way to increased profits!

Very bad customer service Very bad customer service! teller ( SHAMINDER ) at the Hillside Ave Branch just yelled at me YESTERDAY when I went to withdraw and deposit in my account. The whole time he was so rude, unpleasent, bad behavior, showing attitude, when i said to him that is not good customer service he replied (WONDERFUL) it seems he dont care about customer service and he is not afraid of any thing , I had a very unpleasant experience and I felt I should not bank with Capitalone any more. In future Capitalone should hire employees with good and pleasant manners.

SHAME! SHAME! SHAME! On Capital One leadership management to make the decision to close Winchester and Tulip Avenue branches, directing all these customers to Floral Park. Can't park in the lot anymore, takes forever for transactions, etc. etc. It's nothing but aggravation to bank here. There are a gzillion banks in New York and Capital One is closing branches to force us to go to ATM and On Line. SHAME! SHAME! SHAME! If it was not so much trouble, I would transfer to another bank and it would not be Capital One! I may be forced to do that one day.

The two indian tellers both wear glasses and have beards are extremley rude I am there frequently during the week they throw my money at me or toss it in my hands and never respond when i say Good afternoon or please and thank you also they both gossip and talk about the customers this is harrasment and my last straw next time I come in and they give me a hard time I will call the police and also make a youtube video and post it on social media live warning people never to come to this branch..fire these two employees immedietley as they will make you guys lose alot of valubale customers!

I never had any issue either with customer service or with atm. Wait time depends what time you visit the branch. The service is not super however it is acceptable.
