The guy offered me a $20 loan for a dyson vaccum I declined.It was so ridiculous I had to comment on a review. It clearly was a bad deal. I'm sure he did what he did just because he felt like it. Then again pawnshops have a thing were they hire people who aren't the sharpest tools in the shed. Just a bad experience.

I've bought several tv's, Beats Pill and computers to name a few, everything is still working over 2-3 years later. Great prices and sales(55inch tv under 150). They give you a 3 day warranty so go home and use the item like crazy!! The staff is amazing. Friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. I've continuously had great experiences.

THE WORST customer service I've experienced, they can't talk to you without trying to talk down to you, its embarrassing. I've had 100% better luck with neighbouring pawn shops

Come here every once in awhile, depending on who it is, they'll work with you. It's a pawn shop so obviously you're not always gonna get what ya want. Doug and Emilio(may have misspelled) both have been fantastic.

These guys are fair and helpful. I imagine that working at a pawn shop that's in a neighborhood like this one is difficult to say the least. These guys manage to remain calm and professional in high stress situations and are even friendly and caring under normal circumstances. This is the second time I've bought jewelery(diamonds) from this store,each time with a graded cert. And appraisal,then taken it to another jeweler and had compliments on the stones......

The shop is very organized and in order. You can easily find whatever you are looking for. All items are labeled and priced so there is no question of how much or what an item may actually be. Friendly and efficient staff. I have no complaints about this shop. By far the most impressive pawn shop that I have been in this far.

I started coming here when my prior pawn shop was consolidated and combined into Capital City. I've experienced nothing but exemplary service; They've granted me extensions when I've needed it, and have always been understanding. I've dealt with nearly everyone here but Doug is incredibly helpful! I highly recommend this shop for both pawning and shopping. They also play great music in the store :)

I had several guitars stolen from me and ended up seeing them on craigslist. I called the owner and talk to him in identify the guitar to an infinite degree. He told me that he bought them and he did not have to give them back being ignorant of the law I accepted his word as it was. And he lied to me. this phone shop is Shady and questionable and I would not buy anything from them because you don't know if it is stolen or not. and yes I did file a police report and yes they were mine and I can prove it. But its too late. again I would question anything I purchased from the store this guy is crooked.

Been going to CapCity for 20 years. These guys are hands down the absolute best pawn shop in Sacramento. Always willing to help you so you don't lose your stuff if you can't pay on time...as long as you communicate with them, they will work with you. For the most part, a great place to find music equipment, electronics and everything else. My rating is based on the shopping experience overall. My main issue was the way I was treated when returning something I believed to be defective. Was treated like I was pulling a fast one, and not like the regular customer I've been for over 5 years.

I used to really enjoy coming in here I used to pawn a bunch of stuff at this location with no issues and problems. The customer service here is terrible I had a Apple Watch here less then 2 months I got offered 100 which was cool for the price took less 75 I had another watch got offered 50. Didn’t take my loan history in account like most pawn places do. After I get my items out I’ll be finding another place to loan. The experience was not welcoming I dealt with Sam 2 times both have no been welcoming at all and he don’t seem like he know what he doing me ex me spending 20-45 mins there to get lowballed as well quoting me GameStop trade in prices for a game that just came out. But I rarely give bad ratings but when I do they dropped the ball
