Jay is the best! This is not only my first but second time getting a car from this place. Jay helped us through every step even when we were having trouble with our credit he didn't give up on his. I definitely will be back here for my daughters car. 10/10

Went here and the staff was cool until I said no to the offer and the lady just walked off and didn’t even want to talk no more. Bunch of trash cars from auction worth like $500-1k and reselling for 10k. Tires literally bald out and engine leaks. Windows don’t even pull down. Don’t buy these rubbish. Don’t sign because they ripping u off.

I'm a newly single mom of 5 kids, ages 4-15 & for the 1st time ever I'm all on my own. This was my very 1st time going out & purchasing a car 100% on my own so it was a BIG DEAL to me! I was nervous & doubtful, I told my son we were goin in with hope & a prayer... when they said I was aproved & could get a car I literally had to hold back tears, so many things have been going wrong or not working out, every time I walked in the door I was greeted by name, guess I became a "well known customer" after spending so much time over the last week there with them LOL they make sure everyone is comfortable & give the place a great atmosphere, even shared a few laughs! Sandi & Michael are AMAZING!!!! It took a few days, but they got me in a car & I LOVE IT!!! 🚘😊💕

I bought a 2011 Ford Flex, and it took me 4 test drives on 4 different cars, and the flex was the first one, i came back over 3days undecided, and told Micheal if the car is meant for me to have it it'll still be here. It was, and Michael made the deal soooooooo smooth, he was hella funny, patient, and made the car buying process a piece of cake. I'd recommend him and Car Hop for anybody with challenged credit. Also, Sandy was hilarious as each day she was here knowing damn well i didn't know what the hell I wanted. Come in ya'll!!!

Liars sold me a van that had slow leak in the radiator. They refused to fix it says its not on warranty. The van bluebooks for 2,900 they sold it to me for 9,000. I took back the vehicle because I could not afford payments and to do the maintenance it needed. The radio stopped working after a week and so did the air-conditioning. I regret buying from these crooks. They still want to charge 7,000 for the vehicle and are calling it a self repo. Do not buy from them big rip-off! They deserve no stars and to go to jail.

Got a new used car today! Michael Castellanos was great he got me a car that was better than the one I was thinking about getting.I also want to thank Sandi. I was short ten dollars and Sandi heard that and right away offered to give me the money, I can't thank her enough for helping me out. CarHop was a lifesaver for me and I couldn't have had a better experience getting a car than what I received with Sandra and her team of experts in a matter of a few hours. This place is seriously horrible they have you waiting around for hours with one person helping & just to tell someone that they can’t ghetto approved . Even if you have everything qualified they won’t work with you I think it might be race but idk . Someone tells you over the phone that you don’t need 3 months and they’ll work with u but they don’t . Don’t buy from here you’ll only get a headache

I really like car hop. Theyve helped me more than once get approved when no one else would. And when i hit hard times and was having trouble making my payments they made it easy to communicate with them and make arrangements. This time i got helped by Maricela and she was fast and articulate and helped me get in and out quickly. Worked with them on several occasions and excited to get another car with them.

I'm very disappointed. My husband, our 3 year old and i made the 70 mile Trek to North Highlands in our car thats overheating because I heard that they work with anybody and that we would probably be able to drive home in a car the same day I spoke with Sandra over the phone ( really nice women) and she said all I would need was my necessary documents and and said that they would work with us. Well when I went in today Joanne ( nice as well) helped my husband and i. So we had 3 months proof of income, proof of residency, our credit is not horrible, $500 deposit, licenses, ect.... we had every document they told us to bring. But we where denied. She told us since our last bank deposit was a lower amount then our other 2 bank deposits that they want 1 more month of bank deposits to show consistancy?! Mind you the lower deposit was still close to double our monthly rent. If they really worked with people then why didnt they work with us?

So far so good. Both Sandy and Michael worked together to get us approved and in the right fit for us (even with them being short staffed for the day) Thanks guys so much we truly appreciate it :) keep it up

I went in there just hoping for a newer car then mine and I walked out of there with the best car I could have asked for. I traded in my 2004 Hyundai sonata and got a 2012 buick lacrosse. This is by far one of THE WORST car places to go to. They pray on people who need cars and sell their terrible quality vehicles and make their customers repair said vehicles. Even with their "Discount" Repair service. You end up returning for services on your vehicle more then you should. We were sold a car with a faulty transmission, computer and Faning system that not only cost us out of pocket, but the repair company even admitted it would cost well over 2000$ to fix the issue. Their customer service is terrible and you will be playing telephone tag just to contact someone located out of the state for help just to be Dissconected and treated like a dog and you are at fault for them selling you a lemon. This is just another car company selling broken cars nobody wants for insane prices. If i could give this place a 0 star I most definitely would. Give this one a pass.

A co worker recommend me there and now I know why. Sam Powell he is absolutely amazing and took a lot of time even when it was time to close to stay open to help me get the car I loved. And not only that I got it with no money down. I could not be happier everyone there was very nice there not pushy at all they were friendly professional and made everything clear for me to understand so I understood completely what I was agreeing to I was approved with no money down and my payments super low. A friend told me about car hop and I needed to get in a reliable car quick. So I stopped by the one on auburn to see what the requirements were. The first person that greeted me was Nicole. She was nice and not pushy. She explained everything to me and I ended up qualifying. I always pay cash for my cars and never went through a dealership, so I was nervous. But she left no questions unanswered. Basically the service was great, the car was what I needed and so was the payment. I'll recommend carhop to a friend. Hopefully they get Nicole! When I walked in to Car Hop I was so stressed my old car was pretty much dying...it would have cost me more to fix my car than to replace it...I was greeted by Nicole she was more than understanding but I also realized just had to be honest my credit was not so great. Don’t buy from this car place they gave me a car that stopped running the very next day & we had to call AAA to tow it knowing that they are supposed to tow it. Barely had the car for a 2 days before it started messing up on me & my boyfriend

They didn't have the newest dream cars but they were willing to work with me and I do not make much. I was told a $800 down payment as any other dealership told me 4000 3025 due to my lack of credit and being a first time buyer and being 20 years old. I ended up finding a car elsewhere for the amount of money I had on hand. But I do appreciate all the friendly service and all the reminders. I came in and put a small down payment down and already got pre-approved online. came in did some test driving and got a car set up payment plans and financing and it was fast and easy. got my first car off the lot. Come here to get a car, the service is great and fast. my car is really nice and i am super satisfied.

Sam was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process, which took quite a while because I am self employed and had to sift through all my various methods of payments to my business. They had a decent selection of vehicles and the whole office was so accommodating and kind. Our horrible junker car broke down a week ago, and we've been spending a fortune Ubering everywhere, or depending on friends and family for rides. Carhop saved the day!! Highly recommend.

Original review: My overall experience with this Carhop location was great. It took a while, and there was a lot of paperwork, but nothing outside of what's neccessary when making such a large decision/purchase. Staff was very friendly and both Jasmine and Nicole worked together to help me find what I was looking for. Was able to stick around after business hours to get everything finalized. Would reccomend to anyone looking to buy a vehicle who has limited options. Update: The previous review was written at time of purchase because they repeatedly insisted I write a positive review before leaving the building. This is because they are NOT WHAT THEY SEEM. The very next time I visited to pay a bill, they treated me very different. They hardly acknowledged me and the receptionist was very rude. They tell you that you can schedule payments, but will call relentlessly making threats if you're late. Not to mention, there's way more wrong with the car than there should be. You will come out of pocket for repairs they should have made.

I had the most fortunate experience today at CarHop, having been served by Nicole, an amazing sales person with an upfront genuine personality that not only promised she would do her best to get me a car but also delivered. I have the worst credit there is, had repos, turned down from other dealers, bad credit history; however, Nicole made a believer out of me, on how CarHop stands behind it's promise to do their very best and work hard to connect people with a new/used car. Thank you so much Nicole for all that you've done. You are amazing, honest and true to your words. Yes, there is no doubt CarHop will get you riding when no one else will give you a chance. BUT, that it! You will draw the line there. After getting you in a car nothing else counts by getting your money. Regardless of the fact that they sold you a lemon. Check yep and better business bureau they have hundreds of very bad reviews. Please do your research. They lie about and deviate from what they told you or that little video that they sit you down to see. For three months it’s been a mechanical nightmare. Continue ongoing problems of getting the pre-purchase issues resolved. My advice do your research. Because they will get you in a car and that’s where the nightmare starts!!! SERIOUSLY…

My Experience at car hop was decent/ pleasant at first glance. Nervous about getting a car as I was in a very tight situation. My salesperson Jacob was working with me through the process to make sure all my documents were processed. I didnt get a car that I want or that was my preference but I got a car In my temporary situation to fullfill the need I have right now to have a car. However when buying/financing a car you need to look carefully at documents u sign and ask lots of questions and do research. Less than two days of me driving the 2004 ford Taurus the CHECK ENGINE light comes on. I signed paperwork 11/13- then 11/15 I had to bring it right back to Car-hop. I did what anyone would do I went to the Auto shop and had them check for the codes that was making my check engine light turn on. The 1st two codes were Catallic converter codes and the 3rd code was a SPEED SENSOR. I check this about 3-4 times at different auto shops I got same message and also one of the shops specialized in tires and told me my Tires that were on the car at time of purchase were no longer in SAFE DRIVING ☹️ CONDITION ( balding in inside). So I took these MAJOR CONCERNS TO CAR-HOP. I met with Jacob the original sales guy and then the manager. JACOB stated that he was sure they would be able to PAY for the Catallic converter issues as stated in the policy. I knew that I also could cancel the contract within 7 days if I see fit. I would say those are MAJOR REASONS. They sold me a Car they already knew would have problems 😒 but figured that maybe it would be down the road. Any car or used car will eventually have maintenance you need to do regularly but To sell a car that has Catallic converter issues RIGHT FROM THE JUMP IS A RED FLAAAAAAG!!!! The Manager and Jacob both come look at my tires and tell me they see nothing wrong 😡 Then say ok take it to the guy At Econo tires where they do business with a guy there and he will replace them..So I did they gave me 50% tires which is better than balding tires. But to them that was ok (to drive originally when selling me the car). OK now on to the solving issue of my Catallic converter It is suppose to get fixed TODAY 11/20 MY LAST DAY I CAN RETURN THE CAR. And I will Do that if the problem isn't resolved safely and efficiently for me to drive this vehicle. Bad Credit or not..NO ONE SHOULD BE SOLD A UNSAFE VEHICLE TO DRIVE THAT COULD POTENTIAL CAUSE MORE HARM OR RESULT IN FURTHER DAMAGES. The manager gave me word but no Documentation as of yet that they are fixing the problem and assuming the responsibility for my car issue. I had even family members concerned about me driving this vehicle and telling me to TAKE IT BACK. It's not WORTH IT. So today unless I receive that documentation and proof the car Catallic converter is fixed +(properly) then Car-hop will get the keys back to this car. because the same day I was in to buy a car 11/13 there was another couple who They tried to sell this car to but the declined so I'm sure they (CAR-HOP) just wanted it off there lot.

Jasmine was an absolute angel. She was extremely friendly from the start, and my kids both took an extreme liking to her. She laid everything out for us, and stayed past closing to get us into a car that we liked. No other car dealership would work with us or even give us the time of day unless we wanted to put 2,000 cash down on a car. Jasmine truly wanted to see the beat for us even though we didn’t have the credit, and didn’t have a lot of money on hand. I can’t thank her enough for her amazing customer service and care for us. They gave me 2 different cars one the wheel was messed up and the other had a messed up transmission and couldn't even go up a hill I even saw there was a still under inspection thing in the car and when I brought it back they tried selling it to another customer! I don't know how they could give someone a car that's not safe to drive

I have purchased a 2012 Chevy Malibu from this location and have been in love with my car ever since. There was a small problem with it at first but they handled it immediately with the warranty you get with it. After that my Chevy has been running with no problems. Barry has been very polite since the start of my lease all the way to almost the end of my lease now. Sometimes I would be a little late on a payment so he would give me a call to remind me and ask if I’d like to pay over the phone. everytime it was like talking to a friend. Very welcoming and friendly. I want to have this car for a very long time but if I do find myself wanting a new one I’ll for sure return to carhop and get great service from Barry again Very good job ☺️

I was nervous coming here at first, but once I got going with the whole process I felt really comfortable. Jasmine is absolutely AMAZING. She understood my situation and treated me like family. She went out her way to make sure I left with a car I loved. I would highly recommend anyone that is looking for a reliable car ,and a sales person that is not going to try to sale you just anything to go see Jasmine. Update: 6 months later and the car I got engine was bad.. They were nice enough to replace the engine, but because of the engine being bad when I was sold the car it caused more problems with the car... I was also told that first year of registration was going to be paid for... If that was the case, then mine wouldn't be due until December of this year, but it's due in August... I reached out and got a bs answer from Sandy... I WOULD NOT EVER RECOMMEND anyone else to this place... You'll be better off going somewhere else unless you're perfectly fine with getting screwed!!!

Jacob S. went above and beyond to help us get into a car. He was scrambling helping numerous other customers at the same time but made sure to check in with us consistently while we waited for final loan approval. The process is a little different than working with a big dealership but the result was positive. Sandi helped with the final paperwork and getting out the door in a timely manner. We would recommend using Car Hop if you are in a credit bind. The payments are easy and much less than being stuck in a 5-6 year loan on the same vehicle purchased through a bigger dealership.

Nicole was great. She stayed super late to help me out and got me into a car with a low down payment. Thank you sooooooo much for your hard work! Update: I debated doing this, but I feel it's needed. I wound up returning the vehicle I had decided on after discovering numerous issues beyond what was found at the time of purchase. I understand that with my credit history, I'm not going to get a late model vehicle with little to no issues. That being said, if I'm going to make a 31 month investment of over $11k, I should be able to drive away in a vehicle that has at the very least been inspected and worked on prior to purchase. Simply cleaning a vehicle and putting it out for sale won't cut it. The brake system had issues, the oil pressure sensor was bad, the tire pressure monitor system was failing, the traction control was not working, and the list goes on and on and on. On the website it states that all vehicles go thru a safety inspection and are prepped for sale, but I find this hard to believe. To say the least, I'm a bit disappointed. I was told upon returning the vehicle that I should take some time off of work to get the car worked on at their cost, but should I really need to do this with an $11k investment? I sincerely hope that I'm a one off case, and wish CarHop the best going forward.

Very pleased with the service here. Was expecting to have to wait possibly a few days to get financed with no credit score, but all they needed was a paystub and proof of address and they gave me my options within the half hour. Left with a car and payment plan I was very happy with.

I put 300 down on a g6 that had lights come on on the dash the following day, headlights didn’t even work pulling away. Should have been a sign but I was like meh that’s fixable. But that check engine light though. So I returned the car within the 7 day window expecting to get my money back like they promise they do. That’s a joke. It’s been over a month and calling does nothing. So now I’m going down there to see what can be done because not only do they sell lemons it seems like they rob you of your money.

The first day I walked into CarHop the facility was clean and the manager greeted me. I asked a lot of questions and they were answered. I brought in exactly all my documents that they had required. Once all documents where reviewed and approved I was able to test drive some vehicles that I was approved for. Once I decided which vehicle I wanted I placed a down payment which was very reasonable and I was able to signed documents and drive off in a used car but it's new to me as a firt-time car buyer. I have never bought a new car from a dealership this was my first. I am very pleased and happy with my new vehicle I would recommend anyone who's interested in a vehicle and needs a vehicle visit your nearest CarHop!

I was told about car hops by a co- worker who had a great experience with them and had told me they help out people with not so great credit, and had a car he was also paying off, so I decided to come in and check things out. Long and behold I was welcomed by Nicole, who was friendly and made today the best day I've had all month. I never thought I'd be leaving with a car, but I am and it's all thanks to Car Hop. They truly are quick, fast, affordable and they work with your credit. I hope I am able to come back and get an upgrade later! But for now I will enjoy my very first car that I leased on my very own. I was helped by Thomas and let me just say he is very professional and helpful. He helped me right away and gave me the information I needed. I was approved same day and got to take home the car. The only issue was that the check engine light came on. Might of been a small issue but I just didnt want to deal with it. They honored the 7 day money back and gave me back my trade in.
