I forgot my final date by a few weeks and I should of lost it ,when I remembered I went there and sure enough it was there waiting for me, They told just communicate with them and it's all good. I went in today and got some beats for a GOOD price. And awesome customer service very polite and respectful.

The service was beyond excellent and I had what I wanted within minutes and was done. If you need a piece of jewelry that has been handled by experts then look no further! These folks are seriously on point and couldn't be cooler people! I've used their services for everything from short term pawns to purchasing items that I just couldn't get anywhere else paired with such a high level of caring. The staff has always been very helpful and courteous with my money needs. Took very good care of my items throughout the many years I have done business with them. They even went so far as to have a broken clasp on my gold bracelet repaired for me while it was in Pawn. Loans are fair and Payback rates are reasonable. I would highly recommend California Loan and Jewelry to anybody who need short-term collateral loans. And they have a great selection of jewelry items for sale in the shop as well.

I have tried a ton of mailbox services (UPS store, etc) and my experience here is THE BEST. I know, a little unusual for a "pawn shop" to offer mailbox services. Well I am glad they do!! I love the friendly staff who great me by name and always have my mail ready. The pricing is excellent too! The location is as prime as it gets. And of course I love the address 916 J street how it matches 916 area code and located on the main street in downtown!

Great staff, great energy & large selection of designer items as well as fine jewelry. I’ve purchased a few items from them as well as an engagement ring in which they were very helpful throughout the whole process. Always worth stopping by to see what’s new whenever I’m downtown.

Decent place but they really lowball on instruments. Also they did no lookup of the guitar I was selling. Just a random guess. I'm fairly certain it was worth more than I was given. Won't be pawing here again

Elsa was very helpful and showed me into the right direction for what I was trying to get for my girlfriend. I would recommend anyone to go talk to Elsa if you need help with anything she is helpful and always has a smile on her face. I will definitely be returning to California loan and jewelry. I walked into the store with a $200 audio speaker for a guitar 🎸. I talked to a guy with glasses and he claims. That they do not buy speakers. So I decided to go next door to the other pawn shop and they gladly bought them. I definitely will never go to this pawn shop again. Seems like they weren't interested in buying anything at all at all from anybody inside the store. Bad attitudes ext.

All these one and two star reviews I strongly feel are from naturally angry and negative people, I say that because I’ve done so many loans and bought so much jewelry from them and I’ve not one time ever had a bad experience ever. The way the business is ran and the people who run/own it simply do not operate as anything else but 5 ⭐️ 🤷🏾‍♂️

The employees are very respectful, curtious and friendly and always making me feel like my business that I am doing with them is welcomed and appreciated! As far as the quality of their merchandise, I purchased a ring set and it was truly a nice set and continues to be today! I stopped by this store while walking downtown and was really really impressed by the stores cleanliness and displays. I also was surprised by the prices so I made a point to come back and shop when I got paid next. I purchased a very nice piece of jewelry that was something I'd never afford at another store new. Also, the customer service, they treated me very well and I wanted to come back. Other retailers should take a lesson in treating customers from California Loan and Jewelry. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for an original gift or bargain or whatever, because you'd get a great deal and be treated great.

They give you the best deals that I've come across, & they'll work with you if encounter a "set back/bump in the road" kinda problem. So come here if you want the best deal with great service.
