California Coast Credit Union Clairemont Branch Genesee Ave, San Diego

I was displeased with the clairemont branch and my account. I went in to resolve the issue, spoke with George and I was very pleased that George resolved my issue quickly and professionally. Please have a little patience with this branch. I hope your issues will be resolved as quickly as mine were. P. S. I don't like banks but I'm happy with this one. Thanks

I can’t believe I see the employee laughing at one of the customer way of talking. The person who helped me was so annoying, have no respect for customer. Disgusting customer service. I never had this kind of customer service. It my first time came in this branch.

Friendly people but I've had to get a new card 3 times in the last couple months because I use it to buy things online and it "looks like possible fraud". They don't tell you when they put a hold on the card so you just figure it out when payments are declined. This is actually unacceptable because I had meds I needed right away but couldn't pay for them because my card was bad. They could just call and verify the charges instead of canceling the card but that would just be too easy... I'm absolutely sick of it happening and I'm definitely switching banks.

Apparently banks close at 4 now... Why, you may ask, now I couldn’t answer that. There was even a lady who pointed at their closed sign from inside around 4:30.... just work the one extra hour you’re supposed to work guys.

HORRIBLE! The most inept people ever. Every single transaction they have to have a 15 minute consultation with a manager. Waste of time

I love standing in line for twenty minutes to have the person behind the counter refer me to the website and toll free number for functions that don’t actually exist via either platform . If they worked, I wouldn’t be standing in line? What they lack in expertise they make up for in attitude. Customer support is nonexistent and “customer service” deserves ironic quotes. Pity: I’ve been a client for almost thirty years and their doubling down on indifference is the final straw. This is my ex bank now. Special shout out to Susan, no last name, the “manager”.

There are definitely better credit unions out there. I’ve been banking with cal-coast for a fair amount of years and they tack on fees for everything. I also will say probably.... no I take that back... it is the worst customer service I have ever received consistently. If you are looking for a bank to use- do not go here- I would go to San Diego credit union which offers all the same options, but you deal with less fees and better customer support. Hopefully this helps anyone looking for a new bank.

The worst customer service received. I walked into an empty lobby and wasn't greeted once, just stared at as they carried on w personal conversations.

This is a great place to do your banking and the interest rates on CDs are better than any of the banks Annie and new accounts was fantastic also help me for 2 hours and it was very quick when you consider everything she had to do many thanks to a great organization

They close at 1pm on Tuesdays. That is so random amx they held a CASHIERS CHECK FROM THEIR BANK FOR 2 WEEKS AND I HAVE AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM .
