I have been a Cal Bear member at least 10 years. The recent contact I have had with Kyle Hanson was great! He went above and beyond to make sure I had the exact info necessary to open up two Teddy Bear accounts. He has been professional, polite and informative. Great customer service.

I just wanna say that Keven Jackson is the best customer service rep. At California bear credit union absolute Bank Branch Rockstar and he’s supervisor Lisett are awesome , They are professional and helpful.

Wonderful experience applying for an auto loan at Cal Bear. I interacted primarily with Daniel Rincon and I have to say Daniel is an all star. He is kind, courteous, responsive, highly efficient, and fun to talk to. He was able to help me apply for my loan and get approved within 24 hours. He made the process so much more pleasant and enjoyable, and was there each step of the way I had question. The bank does have some old school formalities (ACH can't be used for the first payment), but it's understandable. Overall, had a great experience with Daniel and can only imagine he is a reflection of what the rest of the CU is like. Would highly recommend!

Best Credit Union ever staff is so friendly and professional, very attentive and knowledgeable. Small hometown feel, where everyone knows you name. Can't say enough about Eric, Evelina, and Arlisa...they are great.

Update: after sending an email to the person that was supposed to return my call. I received a very general apology email response. Not acknowledging that what the teller did was wrong or even ask who it was or anything? I never gave names because I wanted to have a conversation about the person’s behavior. Never apologized for not calling back or addressing the call. This shows their level of UNprofessionalism. The email came from a Manager at that. SMH! I’m taking off a star. How sad is customer service today? Kyle is the person. (The teller) I would NOT open an acct here based upon the treatment I’ve received even addressing this situation. Had a problem with a teller the other day and addressed it. I called to speak with a supervisor to let them know or manager. I was given a name Judy McFadden to speak with. I left a message after a person by the name of Kevin told me that she was not available and to leave a message. I did that. I’ve heard from NO ONE!!!! No one has called back. Thing of it is…. I’ve been coming to Cal Bear for 4 yrs now and never had a problem with the women in there. They were always nice, cordial, professional tellers/bankers. EVERY TIME I’ve come in the recent months this one particular person a guy, I don’t know if he’s new? I’ve never seen him before until now but he has a TERRIBLE attitude! From start to finish. My daughter who was with me has witnessed this from him every time. She was outside of the bank this particular day but when I told her what happened, she immediately said he does that all the time!!! Monday was my last straw. I had to let someone know. If this is how things are handled at this credit union where the tellers talk to the customers how ever they want and make nasty comments, I don’t see how anyone is banking here. 2 stars is a stretch!

Danny and Judy made everything so quick and easy. They answered all my questions, followed up with me to make sure I was satisfied. Very professional and very easy to work with. This is my first credit union and I wouldn’t have it any other way!

I called in recently and was helped by Kevin. He went out of his way to provide me directions on how to get to your branch, even telling me what streets to turn on. This is the best customer service I’ve experienced in some time. So much so, I felt the need to leave a review. Keep up the great service.

Can’t say enough about the Bear! Friendly, efficient tellers - always willing to answer questions and make calls to get the answer. They were super helpful when our son’s Eagle Project was underway. When we put together our trust, the staff at the California Bear Credit Union made it very easy to convert our accounts. Loans have been a pretty straightforward event (yay!) and getting fees refunded when I have to use someone else’s ATM is a nice perk. Kudos to Eric and Evelin for always being cheerful and welcoming when I visit. Go with the Bear!!!

I would like to recommend Cal Bear for refinancing on a Auto Loan Or help with any financial needs. A special shout out to the Manager Lisett Moreno she was very knowledgeable and Professional. She made my experience and starting my New Membership and Lease Auto buyout very smooth. TY

Lisett Marquez is an exceptional Customer Service Agent. I had a problem with a double charge from a large supply company and the professional and exemplary proficiency with which Ms. Marquez helped me to rectify this situation was well beyond the normal customer service I usually get at other companies. Ms. Marquez could teach lessons on how to give friendly, personal and accurate customer service. There should be more people like her!
