EVERYTHING! Christina promised 24-48 hours we would have a response. From March 2022 to currently in May we have not received a response. She kept telling us to give her 24 hours and the weekend and the over and over it would continue. I even asked if she didn't want to help us just to let us know instead of ignoring us. she wouldn't answer any calls and was barely responding via text. Still to this day I haven't received a response. I would not recommend her service or company to anyone. Please find services elsewhere. She is not a trusted loan officer.

My experience was great because being a first time homeowner can be quite terrifying without knowing anything but working with Chad, he was able to walk me through it every step of the way.

Tax exempt disabled veteran here. My mortgage was sold to this horrible company. Despite having submitted paperwork for my exemption and having been told...as recently as today, by Caliber staff that I am exempt they refuse to remove the roughly $300/month from my monthly payment AND will not refund the escrow that they have illegally kept. Stay away from this crooked company at all costs!

Awful experience all around. Andrew Wagner and his team dropped that ball many times and added unneeded stress to the home buying process. The horrible customer service doesnt end once you purchase your home though. Caliber will process your payment and then conveniently lose it so that they can claim you paid late to charge you fees and ding your credit report. And when you call customer service they will leave you on hold for an hour and then hang up on you. Do not use caliber home loans. you will regret it

This place is a scam one of their associates Ruben Almazan took $600 from my mother saying that more than 30 days have passed in order for them to issue the refinancing for her house loan and that that money is lost anytime she would try to call and speak to someone they told her there was no one who spoke Spanish when they clearly had a couple of people who did when they were trying to get her money in the beginning.

We worked with Lee Williams. Everything, from start to finish, was explained so thoroughly and done so orderly that we had no issues from start to close! He was available 24/7, seamless in execution, and very knowledgeable in his trade. He worked hard to get us the best rate possible while the market was still hot. We also happened to work with a highly experienced realtor, who also said she had never worked with a lender that was so diligent and professional, and most especially efficient, in all her years working with them. Highly recommend!

I really don't understand how these guys have a 4.9 rating. Three weeks ago I was pretty excited to refinance my house. I received a phone call from Anthony in Texas and paid to get my credit checked. By the way my score is pretty decent. All was good and I turned in all my docs to them and two weeks later I still have not heard anything from them. I was begening to think that these guys don't want my business at all. Anyways three weeks later and I had to call them nothing no answer. Then some other guy called me and ask me what was going on. I told them that I have been waiting for their call. Then he told me that he was going to call me and days later nothing again. Wow! these guys. Unbelievable, if I knew this was going to happen I would of never forked out money to have them check my credit score. Do the upper management know about what's going on. Another guy emailed me from there office and said that they are just too busy. Stay away from these crooks if I were you find some other company to deal with because they will never get my business.

Been with Caliber Home Loans since 2013. When the interest rates dropped they called me. I went from a 30 year loan to a 20 year loan with a cheaper interest rate. My previous mortgage company never did that. I just recently went through another refi with them, I didn't think I could go any lower but they made it happen. In mortgage lending, its extremely sexist. It took me 9 months before I was directed to Calibur because they were known to support women in owning a home. No males necessary. If it weren't for them, I may have not been able to finally refinance on my house in this current market. I am grateful that they exist. More mortgage lenders need to start reconsidering their sexist thinking and support more women become home owners.

I decided to re-finance my home due to the historically low interest rates, and I am very glad that I did. I began the process the end of January 2021. The entire process was seamless. Right from the start, my loan officer Brien Hanley was professional, kind, courteous, and understanding. I appreciated that he was honest and upfront letting me know that there was a very large number of loans being worked by the company and that it might take 45 days to complete; I am thankful that he had the professional integrity to tell me that it instead of leading me to believe that it would be quicker than that - honesty like that tells me a great deal about a persons character. He informed me of how the process at Caliber Home Loans works, and what additional documents to send. Within days, I had been contacted by Mortgage Connect who would be in charge of the closing process; again, I greatly appreciated the quick follow up and communication. By the end of February I received an email from Brien Hanley introducing me to the loan processor assigned to my refinance, Micaela Hines. The very next day I received a call from the young lady and found her to be just as wonderful to work with. Professional, kind, efficient, and really seemed to be on top of what was going on...and did I mention that she was patient? I'm 85 years old and my hearing is not good so I had to have my daughter put Micaela on speaker phone and repeat what she was saying - I know that can be time consuming but she never once made me feel rushed. It's the little things like that with me that I appreciate most from any transaction. I don't know who the supervisors are for Brien and Micaela, but I feel they should know about the excellent customer service that they both provided to me, because I value that more than a great interest rate, and the (supervisors) should also be recognized for their behind the scenes work as they have set the expectations I imagine. I come from a generation where honesty, integrity, and character mean everything - Caliber Homes Loans lived up to it all. I closed on my refinance on March 4th and had never heard of title company coming to you, but let me tell you, that service was just fantastic! Andy and team definitely made us feel like we were VIP customers. They closed a purchase loan in 21 days for us despite it being the holidays. This is our 3rd loan with Andy, Trevor and Tiffany and we could not have had better experiences in all of our transactions. They make gathering documents and completing the loan super easy. Kevin clearly listens to his clients needs and comes up with the best plan to meet those goals. I worked with him over a number of years and refinances as he laid out a plan to get be back into a conventional loan, ultimatly saving me a lot of money. I've had negative experiences with other lenders in the past where they tried selling me a product that was NOT in my best interest. Not so with Kevin and Caliber, I feel Kevin brings the highest level of integrity and when it comes to a 20 or 30 year loan, you really need someone with those qualities on your side. I've been shut down with mortgage companies many times despite telling me ,we can help. Believed them at first, I thought chapter 13 bk would prevent me forever. I was told by companies it will take 2 years to apply after discharged. Caliber home loans sees pass your credit . MIKE , who I've been working with was straight forward. Got the loan and now own a property in San Diego. They worked diligently back in Illinois. Hit them up, you won't regret.

Caliber started out good and I was happy with the closing process and my local rep. However, things started getting worse once they started servicing my loan. Setting up biweekly payments was more difficult than it should have been because of their requirement to be paid a month ahead to do it. After that, they changed systems November 2021 and legitimately went backwards with their online features and services, including removing the ability to pay extra onto the escrow with every automatic payment. Finally, after a couple other customer service experiences I decided to refinance my loan and I couldn't be happier with the timing. Caliber just announced they're removing the ability to pay by debit card, which means they're removing even more features. Beware, they are not a customer friendly servicer.

Caliber Home loans was great to work with. My Loan Officer Shane Ensor was awesome. I was able to close on my home in less than 30 days from the time I filled out my loan application. Highly Recommended!
