Buck Creek Gun & Pawn US, Carrollton

I went in to buy a gun last week, and Donnie was the best! He let me look at a few different guns, explaining each one to me, as well some information on Conceal & Carry... great guy! Bought my gun and some ammo... great experience!

They're not always the cheapest, but they're certainly one of the most honest places to do business and to buy guns at. They'll deal with you directly, politely, and will never treat you as if you aren't welcome there. They have a distinct family friendly aspect to their business that makes you feel like you've known them for years, even if you haven't. My father's done business with them, I've done business with them, and if I have children, and they're around? I'd hope that they'd do business with them. They're a pawn shop, but in my opinion, they lack the stereotypical trappings of what you'd consider a pawn shop to be. Seriously, this is the place you should be doing your business at.

This place is run by a bunch of thieves had my gun pardon there for a good while got a little bit behind calling to make up the payment they sold it out from under me beware to go elsewhere to pawn your gun.

They have a good selection of items to sell. tools, instruments and jewelry and firearms too.

They are price gauging in regards to electronics. A 11.7 inch screen laptop, at least five years old, running on windows 7 is not worth 125.00. Due to covid19, and the sudden laptop sales, they believe they can sell a 45.00 computer for 125% it's worth. Let it be known they undoubtedly purchased it for 25 dollars or less. Further, the charger was meant to be 3-pronged and was missing the center prong. The CPU was so slow that I needed to wait two minutes for the TASK BAR to respond. The messed up part is he may actually sell it to someone who doesn't know better. I assure you, if you go to walmart, you can buy a brand new P.C. of the same size for 150.00 dollars. Do not allow these places to RIP you off. If they're unwilling to negotiate prices and show such greed then take your business elsewhere. FYI Windows 7 Operation system is no longer supported by windows as of January of this year. That means he is making you pay 125.00 to have your personal information stolen within a week. With no updates any holes in the operating system will be exploited by viruses. Buck Creek Pawn, do not assume everyone that comes into your store is computer illiterate. I build desktops, I know an overused CPU when I see it, and a factory restore would be necessary to even hope the P.C. would be responsive.

"We'll sale it for 125.00 That's how much the others all went for." That's now how computers work. You sale weapons based off of their worth, the same goes for a computer. You sale it based off of it's worth. PC's are NOT all made the same, and they age far quicker than a gun. Ignorance isn't an excuse to rip someone off, however, and my rating stands. Do not buy electronics from them.

You never have to be concerned about losing your merchandise. They always go above and beyond to work with you!! They are always willing to help.

Some cool stuff. Needs more guns though.
