BNC National Bank Reviews

I have a business checking account here. I have only had good experiences from opening the account, obtaining and getting a PPP loan forgiven, technical issues, and customer service. I tell my friends and family they should come to BNC Bank because it's old school banking, the way it should be everywhere.

I'm not a member, but I wanted to take a moment and share a positive experience I had with BNC National Bank, they were on a list of local banks that are helping Arizona based small businesses apply for the PPP loan and went out of their way to help me even though I'm not a member. Their branch is across town otherwise I would consider it, but any business that goes out of their way to help others without looking for anything in return is a great characteristic to have for a bank! Thanks Scott and Will!

Closed down an HSA account and received cash. When I went to my bank to deposit the money they found one of the $100 bills to be counterfeit. BNC's response was that it was not their problem. The staff (other than the woman who did not help me with the counterfeit issue) was all very pleasant, but the bank's policies were very frustrating. I had my online access closed several times due to not accessing it frequently enough. I haven't had any issues with Chase. Do not bank here.

Spoke with Larry. He was amazing helping me understand all the in's and outs of commercial banking. I did not realize that BNC Bank did SBA Lending, Start up financing, Acquisition Financing, or commercial real estate financing! He drove all the way from Glendale to Mesa to meet in my office to help me consider buying a commercial building. Great guy to know!

I have a small start-up business and opened my first business checking account with BNC. A few months later I ran into a financial issue and accidentally overdrew my account. Unbeknownst to me, BNC started charging me a daily overdraft fee. As soon as I found out I went into the bank to deposit all the money I had, but the account was still short. I was told they would see about waiving some of the fees. At that point I'd been charged $212.68 in fees. I expected they might show me some mercy and refund a good chunk of that, however, they only issued a $32 credit, which still left me $13 overdrawn. Then they continued to charge more daily fees putting the account further and further behind. Currently I've been charged a total of $265.08 in fees. I called to try to get some help this morning and was told nothing could be done. They will not issue more than one courtesy credit. A $43 deposit was made from my web sales, but the account is still currently $22 overdrawn. BNC refuses to help any further and asked me to come in and deposit $22 or they'll continue to charge daily fees. I told them I don't have $22 and they said they'll just keep charging them anyway until I'm sent to collections. This is insane and I'm so upset that I got into business with a bank that doesn't care anything about their customers. I know I made an error and I totally would expect to pay some type of fees for that, but this is exorbitant.

Aaron Waldron and Suzy Wyskiel provides top class customer service. My refinancing went smoothly due to their dedication to work. We closed under 30 days from initial start date. I’ve already recommended Aaron and Suzy to a few people so they can also receive the best customer service and best rate. Thank you.
