    My grandmother banks here, has for years, The account is shared with my mom because my grandmother has dementia, so now my mom handles pretty much everything. Monday my mom tried cashing a home insurance check, because of a water pipe leak in the walls, which destroyed both sides the wall is connected to. And the flooring, And the bank told her they have to hold it all for 5 days. Would not even release part of the check so my mom could purchase the flooring, to have contractors replace the flooring and dry walls in the main rooms that got damaged. Plus the money to pay us for packing up the house, instead of paying packers, we did it. by 5 days count the check should be released Saturday. However this bank has absolutely no Saturday hours. I've never in my life had a bank hold an entire check for 5 days and never given partial of it, I've been given partial to take care of some things. And any bank I've banked with, including my mom, these banks have Saturday hours. This bank is about to lose a big client because of these things. They need to think about revamping things, having Saturday hours, till atleast 2pm. And always give atleast 1/4 - 1/2 of any check they receive to deposit. The teller could have atleast called the bank the check is from and verified it,, then cash 1/4-1/2 of it instead of this holding policy.My mom is going to open an account through her/our bank this week, and remove my grandmother from this bank. Good luck credit union west your check cashing policies and hours is causing you to lose a long time standing client.

    Every single time I call, no matter time or day, they put you on hold for 20 minutes or more. Entirely unacceptable. Aso, made an appointment with them and when I got there, they told me the person I was supposed to see was in the Surprise office. My appt. was made for the SCW office. No apology given. And now I find I cannot get any bank statements going back over one year! They will email me statements but will charge me $3 for each statement!! Hard to believe. I am thinking of taking my business elsewhere.

    Horrible experience. I normally prefer credit unions but steer clear of Credit Union West. I was charged 7 overdraft fees when I still had $1000 in the bank. They couldn’t explain it and acted like refunding only 3 of the overdrafts was a favor to me. I moved all my finances to a competitor. . . Also they wouldn’t let me in the building to speak to them. Manager only said that the transactions were correct over the speaker in the drive through. I have the printout of all the overdrafts and the positive balances that were associated. They used this fake epidemic as an opportunity to not have customer service. time to open back up and support small businesses that are open to good service. No More Masks.

    Been back and forth with them for months to be removed from their mailing list. Every time it's a different story followed by more mail. If this is any indication of how they are with customers, I'll never find out. The first impression has been utterly disrespectful.

    3rd time in 6 year relationship with this institution I dealt with condescending rude management. Yesterday, was the last straw. I am meeting with another financial institution this morning to discuss transfer. I could kick myself for choosing convenience and not doing it sooner.

    A very positive experience, i had to cancel one account and transfer monies to another account. Sharon was very professional and moved the monies without any problems, also deleted some other accounts that I didn't need any more.

    In.the20 years or so I have been with (luke), till now CUWest, I have never had a problem. ... Faces may change but the associates Service Dedication to Help, and Comitment to satisfy members seems to continue to get better all time. All have been great to me with "Gina", at the Arrowhead Branch being the most receint example... Thanks Gina, thanks ALL. Jack

    Horrible customer service! We went here to get papers notarized and an hour later of us waiting for the person to get TRAINED and getting pushed around they wanted to charge ten dollars per signature!

    Worst experience for the entire process. Please save yourself and avoid this place. Two and a half hours to get approved for a loan when I was a previous customer. You would think that would speed up the process. During that long wait no one bothered to tell me about title fees or anything else. After talking to a manager it was very clear that he did not care about any of my issues or frustrations. When I finally went to pay off the balance and close my account, somehow they said there was a remaining balance of 40 cents. If I paid the balance remaining in full I should not owe a penny! Again no one cared. I was then misinformed again that I should receive my title in approximately 2 days since its been paid, only to wait two weeks and call and be properly informed of the actual process. All in all it was a huge nightmare and no one wanted to make any effort to make a better experience.

    Have been very satisfied with this Credit Union. No cost checking, debit cards, points credit cards. Very friendly tellers. Responsive bank managers to you're needs. Low interest loans available.
