Through a few weeks of unreturned phonecalls by another branch and other companies less than enthusiastic about helping my wife and I roll over our 401k, we were able to be directed to Beth (Milwaukee street). She has been the single most helpful person I've dealt with in regards to banking. She is prompt, to the point, and very friendly. When we finally met in person she treated me with a big smile and made me feel very welcome. I'm very grateful she is our rep and hope to continue to work with her for many years. If you see this, thank you again Beth!

I've had an account here for the last 22 years without any luck of having a positive experience. Between opening my first savings account when I was 9 to the last 4 months that I've spent trying to replace a damaged debit card, there have been nothing but issues with every level of the organization. I haven't had these problems with any of my other banks and will be working to close my accounts. I highly recommend you shop for somewhere more professional and organized to store your finances.

After having a very bad experience with a different credit union, Sydney at BHCCU on Milwaukee St. was able to help me. She answered all of my questions and really took care of me. Great customer service when refinancing my car!

I can't stand the Blackhawk Credit Union. I went in today 3/28/2018 to close my savings account with BHCU. I kept getting letters in the mail that my savings account was still open, but I have not lived in the area for 4 years. I decided it was time to close my account. I went in to BHCU on East Milwaukee, and told the teller about how I needed to close my savings account. Upon looking up my account she said I had prior charges from 4 years ago that were a total of $120 dollars. I said, how could that be? I receive a bank statement about my savings account every month and these charges were never stated? She thought that was odd and brought her manager up and he told me there was nothing they could do. I said, how come I never heard of this, I changed my address right before I moved? The supervisor said that sometimes they don't send financially sensitive mail, and I said well why didn't you call for four years? he stated that there wasn't a person who makes calls about fees like this. I said how is a customer supposed to know this information if you never tell the customer and your supervisor had nothing to say. This bank is trash, I've never heard of any bank not calling about fees or letting a person know they owe money for four years. SHAME ON YOU. As of April 24th 2018 you have no reached out to me which is a COMPLETE FAILURE on your part as a bank you have not treated me as a customer but a joke. Don’t comment saying someone will reach out when they haven’t. All around fail. As of 12/13/18 you have still not reached out to me! I have called multiple times!!!!

Friendly staff and great to work with. Lobby is always clean and they get you in and out very timely. Heavy traffic peak time with customers may delay as expected.

We’ve been members of BHCCU for 15 years and we have enjoyed the experience. After leaving a nation wide big bank the customer service at Blackhawk is 1000% better than anything we’d previously experienced.

Been with them for over 38 years. Only one little ops that was taken care of with one quick phone call. Very nice staff also! I don't think you could find better!

Vickie Crawford is one of the nicest people I've ever dealt with she took care of all my loan needs and goes above and beyond to make sure your happy I will surely tell all my friends I highly recommend bccu

I have been going to this location for over 20 years and have always and a pretty pleasant experience. I am sad that Monica Wellen no longer works there as I believe she retired? She was always my go to lady for any loan or advise related things I needed. I haven't returned since she left which is a bit sad.
