Bethpage Federal Credit Union E Main St, Patchogue

The initial loan application process and the online experience were both good. When we have made follow up visits to the Patchogue branch, however, both the teller and loan officer were very unprofessional and unpleasant. We will never visit the Patchogue branch again based on our most recent visit on 3/19/22. The staff that worked that day were more interested in their cell phones than helping customers, and did not even care that we walked out disgruntled after not being helped. They clearly didn't care about customer satisfaction, or providing good customer service at all. In fact when I said we were leaving, the teller said "Okay" in a dismissive tone, and went back to scrolling on her phone. And the loan officer finally got up, but instead of asking us what we needed, she avoided eye contact, and then went up and asked someone else if she could help them. When I asked her why, she said "I'm not helping them."

This institution discriminates against people people who do not have a social number for this institution are nothing even if they are honest people. I have known people who have canceled their account for years for not having a social number. Because they open accounts and then close them. But it is good that there are other banks that do not have these policies. You are the worst.

A terrible, terrible place to bank. Multiple problems with mobile banking. Complaints handled as if I was the problem. I can not deposit checks into my own joint checking account. Bizarre beyond belief. Does anyone know of a local FDC that is convenient? This one is just terrible. Stay away, far away.

Good service, good rates, online banking is easy to use, generally not long lines for tellers or customer service. I really enjoy the free Notary Services for members

I have performed business and personal banking with Bethpage for many years. They remember me by name, are always courteous and professional. The only reasons that I did not give 5 stars is because the drive-thru is very slow, and they only clear $200 of any checks for 3 days. They used to clear $500.

About fed up with this place not this (location) but the fact that i locked myself out of my debit card and cannot change the pin at 8 pm this dam credit union doesn't have a 24hr hotline to help instead just one of those infuriating elecronic hotlines, im almost about to take my banking elsewhere since this is one of many times this happened to me the fact i can't even change it online only make this worse

Stopped in at this branch today. Teller assisted me with a charge on my account that wasn't authorized. Took down some information and said he would take care of everything. Great...I asked if I needed to do anything....nope....Great. Three hours later I go to pay for dinner, cards denied. Thanks for cancelling my card without telling me. I'll be down there tomorrow to close my accounts. Too many issues with this bank.

App is easy to use but thats it. The bank isnt open inside and don't go to the ATM alone at night unless you like being harassed for money or having a crackhead climb on your car. Bad area at night

There seems to be serious attitude problems with this branch in particular. Policies are inconsistently applied and tellers act like they are doing you a favor. Even other branches of BFCU, like Bay Shore, are way nicer and easier to deal with. The simplest transactions, like a deposit, take longer than they should at this branch.

Everytime I go after hours to deposit cash via drive up ATM or inside ATM, the machine "cannot process the transaction at this time". If I had a dollar for everytime that happened I could probably satisfy my loan from them by now.
