Chase Bank Reviews

I went to this branch on a Saturday to inquire and I was told that appointment is usually required for the concern that I have. I asked if somebody has the time for me and Ms. Iris Vargas, the branch manager herself did not hesitate. She thoroughly explained everything to me, took her time through every detail, and helped me with my concerns. I am greatly satisfied with the service that I got. Keep it up and thank you.

Worst branch ever. I tried multiple times to open a business account and they always ask me to come back another day, or like today they said the only person in charge of opening bank accounts needs to take lunch to come back in 1 hour. No customer service at all, nobody willing to help your customers. I have been your customer for more than 10 years already!!!

Extremely unprofessional Management. Poor people skills. They really need to improve in many areas. Customer service training recommend for management. I would like to go into further details. But it's not worth putting my positive energy into this chase bank were the Employee's are so negative . My recommendation for chase customers Stay away from this branch.

I gave it one star just because really it’s a zero I never felt out of place until I walk through those doors no one spoke English my country and I felt out of place. I will never bank with them I was only there to make a deposit in someone else account and I walk out and went to another chase where I understood what the heck they were saying.

This branch has the worst customer service. Very unprofessional and very rude. I tried to open a business bank account multiple times and they aren’t willing to give me a minute to go through the process even though I have been their customer for more than 10 years. And really it’s just this branch, full of unprofessional and angry people.

I never passed through this horrible experience with a bank before. I have recently moved into the area and I received a new residence coupon from Chase on July 14th I went to the east Patchogue location and open an account. I gave the person that open my account the coupon, that stated that if you open a checking account and get direct deposit you'll get credit of $300 in your account within 10 business days. I waited until August 9th and I called the 1-800 number to my surprise the person never imported my coupon. I call several times to speak to the branch manager and she was always busy always helping a customer never even had the time to call back. The only way I got in touch with her on one occasion and it was because I called the 1-800 number again and put a complain and they called directly to the branch and that's the only reason how I got in contact with her. And when I finally got to speak with her she said that the coupon was not found that if I'm sure that if I brought the coupon with me it's like she was calling me a liar and said that there was nothing that she can do. The least she could have done was call me and let me know what was going on. To not make thing longer nothing was done the only thing that the branch manager said to me was to come into the branch but there's nothing they can do about it, but I am not going to waste my time for that. Hopefully Chase changes their act and respect all customers equally and stop discriminating against customers that are in the middle class.

I'm not sure why it's taken me so long to write a review but here I am. If I could give this bank negative stars I would. Between their lack of professionalism and blatant disregard for their customers, my story with this bank ended with me PAYING THEM to never have to step foot in the establishment again. Last June I made a deposit of a total of 4 checks between Bethpage, and Chase. At the time I was trying to get control of my spending by putting my savings account at a different establishment (Chase) to limit the transferring between checking and savings. I made a 2 check deposit to Chase for the amount totaling around $700. Not a ton of money but not pocket change either. I made this deposit with the teller, face to face. When receiving my receipt it did look a bit odd, but I assumed that the account balance just had not update yet. A month goes by. From my birthday, I had cash to deposit and I figured it would do more good going into my savings. I went to Chase to deposit this cash and then I realized I was $700ish short in my account. I asked for a record of my deposits and the 2 checks I had deposited a month earlier were not accounted for. It was as if I never was there and those checks did not exist. From the beginning of this, I was not taken seriously. I was actually asked if I had made the mistake and never deposited money that day. WRONG. ALL of the blame was put on me. Me not keeping the receipt from day of deposit didn't allow them to open a claim. Me not being able to provide the a copy of voided copied checks in question was an issue. Me not being able to tell them immediately what day the checks were deposited was an issue. NEVER was it their error of either losing or scamming me out of what was close to a thousand dollars. Eventually, after working with my other bank, I was able to figure out the day of deposit, and was able to figure out what checks were deposited to which bank, allowing me to reach out to my employers to get voided copies. EVERYONE in this situation was helpful with the exception of Chase. Months later I was given a credit for the amount of the 2 checks. I was never given an explanation as to what happened. And at that point after waiting 4 months to get this credit I didn't care. As soon as the credit was received I closed my account thinking I could put this behind me. WRONG AGAIN. In November I received a letter that I OWED THEM the exact amount of the smaller check, claiming that they credited me "too much." Apparently there was enough proof for the larger check, but not the smaller one. It was for about $250. I went down to the branch to fight it, but because my account had been closed, they couldn't open a claim. I PAID THEM THE MONEY TO NEVER HAVE TO WALK INTO THOSE DOORS AGAIN. Never a follow up. Never an apology. Never them reaching out to me with updates. Never owning up to a massive F up. If you are a member of Chase, run. Take your money out and don't let these fools make another cent off of you. And if you are looking for an establishment to put your money into, again, RUN. To this day I shake with anger telling this story of unprofessionalism, deceit, and lies. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS BANK.

I thought I’d be the only one posting negative review haha guess not. This lady made me wait on line for like 5 mins while she was staring into the ceiling then when asked for a withdrawal she said I should have used the machine like I was disturbing her then after she gets the money which was higher than the atm machine limit she slammed the money with an envelope on the side like insinuating get the eff outta here. Holy hell it felt like she went into her bank account and lent me the money. MANAGEMENT THIS IS A HIGH FOOT TRAFFIC AREA...Put some smiling faces on the forefront.

Went in and asked for help with an overdraft fee. They told me they couldn't help with those, and I had to call the 1-800 number. Walked into another Chase later in the day and they were more than happy to help me with it!

Poor management and disrespectful staff. I want to mainly underline the manager at this location who clearly shows a lack of people communication and customer service. We are going thru difficult times this days and believe me I will not go to a place unless needed. Finally, and personally think this lady does not enjoy her job and with this her leader position.
