BB&T Lakeside Ave, Richmond

I use this BBT/Truist Lakeside branch for my hotel management company. I work most often with Anthony Bell and I am extraordinarily grateful for the care and professionalism. I have banked with BBT for as long as I’ve owned the company and am impressed by the Truist platform and banking platform. Excellent job done by all here.

Extremely rude employees at this branch from the tellers to the bank manager. Will not accept cash deposits. A family member wanted to deposit birthday money into a grandchild's account. The manager said they don't accept cash and she would have to go to the Fastmart down the street, purchase a money order and deposit that!! This was for 200$!!

I mean I think they could employ people who care more about dealing with our money! Now the whole system is down and had to wait till my branch opened to find out my balance, too get told to call back later! I was told so many things from this bank and none of it was honest and I've tried several times to speak with my personal banker and no call back so I will be switching banks!

Date and time of visit: 1/4/18 at 3:10p.m.This is not the first time I have left this location feeling like I got nothing but an attitude. I get that is cold outside and a snowy day, but I don't deserve someone having an attitude with me. I was only in there for 2 minutes and they managed to put me in a bad mood when I was in a good mood coming in.

Awful! The tellers all have an attitude problem. I've been in there two times and both times they treated me like I was stupid. Last time was the final straw, the teller was so rude that after I left I went to a new bank to inquire about switching my business to them. I've been at BBT for 6 years and have had it.

I've been with BB&T and used this branch for over a decade. Unfortunately, the quality of customer service at this location has grown worse and worse. In the last three visits through the drive-thru, it's taken FOREVER. Today, I pull directly up to the window (no one in front of me) and with FOUR people on the other side of the glass, it took 8 minutes just for someone to acknowledge me and a full 10 minutes to make a SIMPLE Deposit. This is ridiculous! I'm considering moving all my personal and business accounts to another bank that seems to care about customer service.

Told after 30 minute drive through wait: "Some people have to wait over an hour" we cut back on staffing due to covid. How reassuring! This being almost a year after this Covid began-seems every business blames poor customer service on Covid.

I walked in, unknown, and was greeted with smiles and a great willingness to help me with a complicated transaction. I could tell the staff enjoyed working at this branch and were extremely friendly.

Some of the kindest interactions I’ve ever had at a bank have been at this branch. They have been wonderful to myself and my business.

Very bad and they have a very bad employee.. She does not have good behavior
