Bayou Pawn Scott St, Houston

I like this Bayou Pawn on Scott St @ OST. Other people seem to agree. They were very busy on an early Wednesday afternoon. They have a fairly small sales floor, but its loaded with traditional pawn shop items. The merchandise includes: TVs, audio equipment, jewelry & watches, shoes, purses, small appliances, portable & window ACs, bicycles, generators, pressure washers, lawnmowers, power tools, ladders and guns (shotguns, rifles and pistols). Store associates are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

Always works with anyone who has something. If they don't take it, it's either outdated, can't be resold or they have way too many of them!! This is my go to place when I need cash in a hurry!!!!!

I went to a pawn shop I normally use and they told me they were going out of business. They pointed me to a flyer for Bayou Pawn down the road a little ways. I had no idea my hesitance would be replaced by a pleasant experience. Josh, the assistant manager, went out of his way to get me more than I was asking for on a piece of jewelry. Naturally I'd went high so when they went low we could meet somewhere in the middle. But, again, Josh got me even more. I noticed how the staff treated everyone that entered as VIP's. Then I saw the first mission statement I've ever seen at a pawn shop. "To treat each customer with respect and dignity. To be fair and just in business transactions. To have a positive impact on the community." Of course I'm paraphrasing, but I understood what I was witnessing then. Remember, it was my first visit. It won't be my last. If you've got something you want a loan on don't be hesitant.... "GET IN DER!"

I've been a patron of Bayou Pawn on Scott for years. The staff, though it rotates, is always kind and the last experience in particular was extremely efficient. Josh and the other staff are very patient and reasonable! I havent been to another pawn shop since my experience here. Keep up the good work guys!!!

They are very rude , the lady that helped me had a attitude nd she didnt wanna go get the manager. They sold me a locked apple watch then didnt want to give me a refund

They know exactly where they located so they really rob you with there prices had a item worth about $600 they offered me $45 I just walked out & there rude definitely wouldn’t recommend ever going to buy are sell anything there the true definition of bad business honestly.

I enjoy the staff Mr Josh is real and will tell you if a product you are trying to pawn or sell is real! The staff work well with each other and clients.They do their best 2 see to us all in a timely manner.

I can say a lot of great things about this pawnshop. It’s my favorite one and only one. When I come in they always greet me as if I’m family. Amanda, Pj and Nichole, Alan, Josh are very hard worker and they get it done. When we ask for certain things they always make sure we get what we ask for and more. I love it!!!!! They deserve more then 5 stars they deserve 10+

First time visitor looking for firearms. One word RUDE. Hurts to see how my people are treated and talked to badly by the management! Sad that we feel forced to do business with people who CLEARLY don’t respect us or appreciate our business 😩
