Banner Bank Sw Murray Scholls Dr, Beaverton

May be it's a good bank when you are in your good times. But when hard time comes, this bank make your hard time even harder: they build up so many beurocratic obstacles in managing your accounts & money. Do not recommend to open account there anyone.

My biggest complaint is that they don't have a branch where I moved. Great PR, great customer service, friendly staff, great policies. Honestly, I've never liked a bank before Banner Bank and I'm nearing my fifth decade of life. I don't know how anyone would rate them less than 4 stars.

I have been a Banner Bank customer for years. They have unmatched commitment to customer service. It's obviously a top down attitude about treating each customer well. Even the procedures and fees reflect a willingness to do the right thing by us the customers.

Forget making a cash or check ATM deposit on the weekend or after hours (which is 5pm)!! No envelopes were even provided at the Murray location for their stone-age drop-box deposit. Light years behind Chase bank technology and convenience. FRUSTRATING! Switching in the near future!!

I asked if they would break a $100 since the Children's haircut place across the street didn't have enough change yet. They refused to stating it was against their policy since I didn't have an account their. As I was about to walk out the manager gave the approval for them to break the bill. I was told they don't do it out of security and to avoid the risk of receiving fraudulent bills. First of all if I were the manager at a financial institution I would make damn sure you knew how to spot counterfeit bills vs real ones before hiring you. Common sense or at least one would think so... I was asked if I wanted to open an account. I declined the offer and informed them I have received way better service at far less pleasant banks where I would NEVER open an account. I know my business won't make or break them. Hopefully others receive better treatment than I did.

I switched to Banner Bank after I got fed up with the lack of customer service at Bank of America and Chase. Wow what a difference! I've been with Banner for several years now and just laugh when others complain about their big bank problems. The workers at Banner are so friendly and helpful. Very refreshing.

Banner is the most amazing bank. Not only is there customer service exceptional, but they out do other banks with their services!!
