Why is the lobby STILL not open? Doing a deposit takes 40 minutes in the drive thru even after being the first car! If you try and contact the teller they don’t answer. Yet the car that just pulled up next to me is leaving right behind me. We can do better

Jessica a front rep is extremely rude!- I had some legal documents notarized and the employee is no longer there, she was completely disrespectful and didn’t help whatsoever.

Bank of the west rife with ehtic violations of human civil rights , plays on word play theatrics through out its daily routine of manipulating systems to rob and steal the American citizens hard earned money playing hard ball with fast pitched curveballs well out of bounds and eye sight of watchdogs as they use bats drilled with cork , kicking sand in the eyes of its customers to blind them to steal their home plates bank of the west plays a very very unfair game against the American citizens another wells Fargo play book probably stolen . I had 60 cents in a an account , a debit transaction was paid by this and closed the account as a charge off , I never opt in for the overdraft service , so they processed it any , the old short hair Hispanic lady did this on purpose because she had a falling out with me because they gave me the wrong routing information on another billing , it paid anyway to the company even though the old lady said it didn't and the money was still in the account , I called the company they said yes they have the money , the bank uses two different routing numbers I had just opened the account and used what I thought was the the correct routing number , she insisted it was the wrong routing number the company said they already got the money , she demanded I leave and started yelling at me and threatened to call the police I'm in shock because she refused to look into it with her feet up on the desk threating me . I asked for her to please look in to this she said no . I went leave out and the other gentlemen asked me what was going on and I explained it , he called the corporate and sure enough she was wrong and the funds was paid on the other routing number , I'm trying to avoid paying the same bill twice how ever due to this old lady attitude I did . The two rounting number in question is to the same account . One is for local bank use and the other for non local account use , i had used the non local account rounting number because bank of the west didn't really provide information for the difference I was told the bill would not pay if I used the non local rounting number how ever it did and does just takes a little longer , yet this lady refused to get her feet off the desk and look into it and called me a lier and accused me of trying to manipulate the bank because I really didn't pay the bill at all , how ever as it turns out I paid it not only once but twice . I left 60 cents in that account after I was so rudely treated just incase I might go to a different branch how ever this lady saw an opportunity to play havoc on a customer's account she didn't like and paid a debit card transaction even though I had not opt in for the overdraft which is illegal and then closed account charges it off and sent it to collection .. this is very very dishonest and beyond disgusting for a banking institution to use this to seek revenge on a customer when they orginally caused the problem in very beginning . Absolutely horrible and complete negligence on bank of west to cause harm and damages to a person because the seek revenge for their dishonesty , talk about overreaching the boundaries of ethics this is miles across the boundaries of overreaching the ability to manipulate anyone's account , they need to be investigated for fraud and ethics violations this is so very very wrong and well beyond this is should a federal law violations and sanctions be placed on this bank for this action for if they can just go around overreaching ethics just because they don't want to do their job and treat American citizens with complete disregard to the protection of their life matter in the finance industry I'm sure I'm not first as obviously others are looking away as this and other infringements on American citizens is pounced on by bank tellers that sit in their lazy chair feet up on the desks and being rude to American citizens that work hard In this day to keep up with banking institutions that just go along with no accountability just acting out crimes of passion on the American people ..

Rude, and absolutely no concern for helping the customer

The customer service is non existant. The manager was extremely unknowledgeable about basic operations. Very rude representatives. They were decieving and possessed very little information and resolve in response to simple account concerns. They provided proven false information regarding account issues and promotional questions, and were decieving. A very unprofessional banking experience. I would rather have my five year old grand daughter look after my finances.

PSA: Be cautious if you bank with, or are considering banking with Bank of the West. We recently switched all of our accounts over and were happy until we realized we were being charged hundreds of dollars in fees. After calls to customer service, emails to the banker who set up our accounts (with no response) and visits to multiple branches we were told conflicting information about the fees and ultimately, they said because we signed the paperwork, they are unwilling to reverse any of the fees. Not only are we out hundreds of dollars but we were lied to about the accounts. They have certainly lost our trust and our business. Keep an eye on your accounts and don’t make the same mistake we did!
