Bank of the West Somersville Rd, Antioch

The Assistant Branch Manager, Evelyn Ponce made my experience better than any bank I've ever had an account with and any representative at ANY bank I had to communicate with. She's definitely a leader for a reason and went way above and beyond to explain the checking account I recently opened up and has planned for me to come in on another day to give me a more personalized experience since I was a walk-in and the branch at the Antioch office off of Somersville Rd was very busy. I know most enjoy giving negative feedback since customers who typically walk out happy don't think they need to write any type of review but the attention and customer service I was given at that branch, not only from Evelyn, but even the tellers was something that made me feel so welcome and excited to be a new customer of Bank of the West. They were ALL extremely kind and personable and I hope they receive recognition for everything they've been through the last couple of years. BRAVO to everyone but ESPECIALLY Evelyn Ponce!

Bank has trash all over the front. Customer service does not help you. They will cancel your debit card without telling you.

First of all James Pringle has got to be one of the most professional and most understanding person I have ever come across in a very long time. I explained my situation of a Mis communication between myself and the corporate office he listened to my every problem and didn't brush me off like the 800 # my problem became his he took the extra mile to find a solution something 10 years of my life NO bank, NO BANK representatives has ever done what he did for me today! James took my problem and found a solution... and I couldn't be more thankful or grateful I hope this review gets the recognition it deserves because JAMES Pringle deserves a lot of credit for how he handled my situation, a raise maybe some kind of gift card from his upper management because I have never and I mean NEVER been this impressed with someone's approach in solving a problem that didn't even occur in this branch!!!!!!!! He didn't have to do what he did he took the extra mile to help me and I am so grateful I'm not sure what his position is but if it's not a branch manager it should be and I know I am ranting and ranting and it almost seems like to good of a review to be true but if upper management would like to contact me directly so I can give you my info so you can look me up and see I'm a real customer of that branch and my experience was beyond amazing!!! James you are one of a kind and i hope you move up to corporate !! They need someone like you! Who talks to a bank rep and actually feels relived after something goes wrong on your account??! Not many!! But I am one of the few thanks to you james !! Thanks again!!! I am one happy customer!

I have been banking with Bank of the West but I moved to Southern California where there are no Bank of the West’s near me but I stayed with this bank because the employees and Christina, the bank manager, has been amazing and service is exceent.

I bank with these guys the staff especially management are seriously the absolute best when I have any thing I need to take care of. The only issue I have is there call center o.O wait times sometimes exceeds 2 hours one day I waited 5 minutes I thought it was my lucky day then the lady on phone refuse to authenticate me saying I can identify you which straight bs it works with everyone else it wasn't until she had to get a supervisor to help me which forced me to wait 30 minutes for one. Makes the DMV look like they have a fast pass.

Worst bank ever! I've have several different bank accounts and let me tell you I would rather bank at wells Fargo or bofa and everyone knows how terrible they are. They've put blocks on my account never even told me they've charge me for od fees and I have know od. Evelyn Ponce straight idiot and shes one of there managers who i believe put my account in the current situation. He'll I can't even use my routing number to pay my bills. Trust me on this stay as far away from this bank as possible.

I was deceived by the employees on a transaction I did with the bank. They made multiple mistakes during the transaction and took more of my time. They did not take all the information I handed them, to only call me later asking for the information they refused to take. Which only delayed everything and is not being complete by the day promised.
