1/8th of a star...I used to work at BofA and I am glad that I left. The bank in general is pointless. LOL, why have phones if they will not be answered. I currently work for a great bank and one that will always answer the phones within 3 rings or less, as this is one of the ways we show that our customers mean more than a number. Please Please Please leave this bank, if you have autopayments for your Mortgage or Vehicle so that you are receiving a lower interest rate then I understand. But, please consider that your everyday transactions style account be one that is from a bank that believes in you, and that understands that they wouldn't be in existence if their customers didn't feel important.

This location needs new management! With 11 people in line inside at teller counter, there were at least 3 employees in this area working on computers or just hanging out! Worst location in SA! I’ll drive downtown and get faster service than if I stayed here in line. Pitiful!

Went to the bank with my grandmother. The security guard at the front opened the front door for the customer before and after us.....but didn't budge from standing doing nothing as we approached. Then we needed assistance beyond a teller. We were told we had to wait 45 mins because other people, who weren't present, had reservations. Trash location.

Mr Antonio Salgado at the Merrill office is one of the friendliest people I have ever met. My wife and I went in to open an investment account with him. We were not too familiar with the investment world but he made every effort to make us feel secure and comfortable with whatever we were doing. Even throughout the administrative process, rather than awkward silences he’d go off about his life experiences, and we’d share ours in the process. The other employees that we met were also very friendly and cooperative. We love coming to this branch.

Worst bank ever. Every month we go through the same thing. Rude staff (if you can call 2 tellers staff), extremely long waits, no drive thru, no commercial line for commercial customers. Just a whole lot of NOTHING.

This place is one of the all time worst BUSINESSES, not just banks, but BUSINESSES to ever go to. The customer service is slow but that would be tolerated if they were even borderline competent. I literally went in 6 or 7 times no one could correctly answer any of my questions about opening an account. Stay away from here at all costs!!!

    Response from the owner

Hi Aaron. We appreciate that you took the time to tell us this, even though you were disappointed with our new account service. We'll certainly be sharing your feedback with our leadership team and would like to know more, please reach out to a member of our Social Media Client Care team on Twitter at https://twitter.com/BofA_Help or Facebook https://www.facebook.com/BankofAmerica. Look for the blue verified checkmark before communicating with a #BOA profile. Thank you. ^susan

This is the absolute worst bank . They would rather have you standing in line inside the bank rather than have all their drive up teller windows open. How is that even safe? Frost has ALL their drive up windows open all the time. That shows they care about their customers safety. I plan to get out of Bank of America soon!

Came in today to get a new card and direct deposit slip. I was waiting by the computer where they sign you in for about 10 minutes before some one acknowledged me. It was the tellers that were the busiest and finally said they’d be with me in a minute. The lady’s at the desk kept looking but didn’t say one word to me. I’m going to assume this location is short handed, but good customer serves starts with at least acknowledging the customer. Let them know you see them and you will be with them. I read quite a few of the reviews, I agree 100% new management is needed at this location and most definitely training in customer service. I work in a hospital, I’m very familiar with working short handed. But again good customer service it goes a long ways...

I hate going so far out of my way. Time is money. I also hate driving there and they are closed. I hate my Dellcrest being closed. I hate and I usually don’t Hate anything. But you don’t seem to care about the business’s and were the ones depositing every day. I like all the employees. They came from Dellcrest. You need to get your act together.

Slow service. No drive thru. No commercial line inside. Rude staff. Definitely will drive to the next location, no matter how far, until I get our properties commercial accounts switched to another bank with better service.
