Bank of America (with Drive-thru services) Reviews

I left and went to Mid Florida Credit Union. Not only does bank of America charge $15 month for teller fees (even though the last time you even spoke with a teller was 15 years ago when you opened your account) but you can't deposit cash into someone else account unless you have an account with them. Like if I had an account with boa, then I would just use the online transfer service. And if there's a problem with my account, I'm calling costumer service, not driving 25 minutes out to talk to someone. This bank is so ridiculous.

This place is awful. They are not helpful and unresponsive to their customer's needs. Big banks are the worst!

The only thing I wanted to do was cash-in an AmEx Travelers Check. After waiting inline for 50 minutes, I asked the Bank Manager if they can cash the Travelers Check, she said "let me check". She came back and explained "usually we could but do not have anybody currently working that is authorized". Also explained she could call other branches to try to find somebody. I said no thanks, and went up the street to Amscot, they took care of it in 5 min.

Don't bank at any bank of America I have been a customer for 10+ years, and they have been hitting me with fees. I went in to speak with a rep named Sabrina Solort she came off very unprofessional, it's a shame how they treat you customers like this. I'll take my business to chase where they know how to treat people.

I had a check that needed to be cleared to pay off a balance at school before my graduation and I asked the fat blonde lady if it will be cleared before the date(Needed 4 days later). She ran it through the check scanner thing and assured me it would be cleared by tomorrow. They sent me an email saying the check is now on hold for a week and a half and now my graduation will be postponed to a later date (thanks to her) when I could have cashed it at Wells Fargo to give to my school. So thanks. Thanks alot.

Been banking with BoA since 2004. In the last year it seems that half the time I come here it's either closed because of some very recent changes to operating hours, or it's extremely understaffed. I came in today and was told they did not have the staff to accept cash deposits, and did not know when they would be able to (the amount being deposited exceeds what the ATM allows). Good luck trying to get anyone on the phone by calling the location.

Bank of America as a whole is by far the worst bank ever dealt with, your policies and procedures are horrible, the only reason I continue to bank with Bank of America is because of Melissa at the Alafaya branch she is amazing. But still I am really considering closing all my accounts with Bank of America due to the lack of personal customer service given. The hold times that we receive when you call are also ridiculous. Hopefully you guys can do things to make the experience better for your customers. Keith

I know that there are a lot of negative reviews but I believe it depends with whom you deal. I do not go in often but I had to to schedule a wire. Please ask for Sonila and you will receive the best service they can provide. I am not sure about the other employees but Sonila does an awesome job!

    Response from the owner

Thanks for letting us know how helpful Sonila was during your financial center visit. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know what we’re doing well.

Customer service is horrible. I went today September 1, for service through the drive through at about 4:30pm. I pressed the call bell and told the teller , a young lady, that I needed a withdrawal slip. She didn't say anything at all, so thought that she didn't hear me so I rang the bell again and said excuse me, I need a withdrawal form. She responded "You already said that", she send me the slip, I filled it out and she proceed to do the withdrawal, sent it my way. Didn't say can I help you with anything else, nor have a nice weekend, nothing she proceeded with another customer. I called to speak to a manager but, it was already 4:30 no one picked up. I live in the community and Now, I understand why so many people are switching banks. That's unfortunate, because many of the tellers inside are very nice.

Sonila Gjikuria is the best! She resolved all my concerns. Make an appointment with this bank in person, never use the call center.
