Bank of America (with Drive-thru ATM) Reviews

We have been with Bank of America since 1976. I find this bank to be somewhat slow in service. But there always seem to be other employees in the booths or roaming behind the scenes. I like the building but it feels hollowed out and not cozy. The cameras all aimed at you feel like an array of machine guns. The tellers themselves are friendly and helpful. I do miss the bank we used to have in Kingston. I miss having a personal relationship with my local bank. There is just something lacking in the current set up.

Rude Manager - asked about seeing a banker - answer you need to have an appointment and then just walked away - no explanation as to how to make an appointment - just a go away don't bother me - I'm busy attitude. So we will be moving our Business and personal accounts to Chase.

it started out completely my fault. I overdrafted. Fair and Square. Though being charged a $35 overdraft fee for a one dollar overdraft seems a little outrageous, I'm willing to admit when I'm at fault. So I swung by the bank and deposited money to cover my overdraft and put me back in the black. I asked the teller if there were any other debits pending, and if I needed to put more money in the account. I had more money that I could deposit if I needed to to cover any other pending transactions. I just had other plans for that cash so I would prefer not to if need be. She reassured me twice that there was nothing else pending. I woke up this morning and my account was in the red again. And again, the larger portion of my negative balance was their $35 overdraft fee. At most Bank of America branches, if you sit down and explain a situation like that to one of the personal bankers they will gladly reverse the fee, and usually do something else to bring you back into good graces. Instead they shrugged it off and told me there was nothing they could do. Even though the personal banker (Who happens to be the very same teller who "helped" me the night before) admitted fault to the situation. I know better. I travel the country constantly for work (that's why am forced to use this terrible chain of parasitic organizations) and at almost every other Bank of America chain, at least if they do something asinine and intolerable, if you called them out on it they will usually reverse their actions. As a final act of complete ignorance, the personal banker then proceeded to try to turn me into a quick sale by offering me a business credit card and setting you up with overdraft protection. I reiterate, rather than admitting her fault and reversing the fee, she tried to turn me into a quick commission and point the blame at me. This particular bank refused to adhere to any moral policy. They sat on their hands and smiled at me until I left. Thank you your help. I'll be calling your corporate offices and letting you know about my experience.

I live in Kent, however I had to go to poulsbo for work and decided to stop in and make a deposited at this location. I got there 25 minutes before they open so decided to wait to go in I had my breakfast to enjoy anyway. (I've had money stolen from the atm and never use it anymore) Someone from the bank comes out and I explain I'm far from home and just waiting for them to open, she rudely tells me I need to leave because they aren't open.... so your telling me I can't wait? It would have been one thing had she been nicer about it but rudely storming up cutting me off and telling me I need to leave NOW.... I'm sorry but this is the last straw im looking for a new bank. These people need to go back to training classes for customer service this is not the first time I've been treated rudely by a bank of America associate. I'm so glad i got my company to close theirs too. Terrible service!!!!

Their smoke alarm went off on a Sunday and could be heard within a half mile radius, affecting hundreds of households and robbing them of sleep. Bank representatives either couldn't be reached or refused to do anything. I had a long day and was really looking forward to sleep, but this bad business wouldn't allow it.

I have to say I received great service from Alanna Vidal. She has great energy, and was able to solve my problems in a timely manner given that they are short staffed. She was really attentive to my concerns and gave me valuable information. Very kind. Give her a raise
Thank you for the positive review about your recent experience with Bank of America. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know.

The bank in Bremerton is completely closed down, the one in silverdale is only open 3 days a week. I guess the people in Port Orchard & Pousbo is the only people y'all care about being able to handle their business. Just lost a customer.

I have been with Bank of America for twenty years. I am planning to switch banks with my business account because this is not a full service bank. I have repeatedly asked for checkbook registers and they are always out. This is unacceptable. The branch was closed for a long time too, and I do not think this is good business.

It is such a sad state of affairs - the Banking industry deserves to die. Won't answer a phone. Can't access a human. Need to use online banking to make an appointment. IF you have a problem with Cards - call the card division. Seriously - this industry is SO in need of a disruptive force. Com'on bitcoin and block chain - do your stuff!

Staff was very friendly, but I was told they couldn't close my account that day/moment and gave me a number saying I could close by phone anytime. Turns out both numbers I was given have hours and you cannot talk to them anytime...
