When visiting this area, we always would did business with the other northside BoA branch. It was convenient to I-4 and we could easily jump on the Interstate and head back home to the east coast. Well, they closed that location years ago. Now there is ONE location on the northside. We now have to deal with US 98 North to get to this branch. Not fun! We have gone here twice. Both times a line out the door. This last time, I wanted to discuss opening another account. I was told to make an appointment. I really only have two or three questions. So I called instead. Nobody answered so I guess I have to request an appointment in order to request an appointment. So I picked a random branch and called and got right through and had my questions answered. I also asked the associate if the big shots at BoA are aware of the horrendous customer reviews with this company. He blamed Covid. That's convenient.

I have been a BOA customer for 16+ years and I have been disgusted with the lack of customer service they provide. There are not any branches open within a 20 mile radius from my home. I passed 5 closed BOA’s to get to the ONE open branch. Arrived at 4:00 to be turned away. The business I have with the bank requires in person banking and not mobile. I will be closing my account. I do not recommend this bank. Go to a bank with actual service representatives and hours that are flexible for the customer. After all it is YOUR money!

Last time I went to access my safety deposit box, I was informed that I would need to make an appointment in the future or I would have to wait at least an hour before someone could help me. Today, I called to make an appointment so I could access my box and the lady had no idea what I was talking about. Also, this week my mother in-law who also banks with BOA brought our 5 year old boys to the bank to deposit their money from their piggy banks into their accounts. She was told that they are unable to deposit cash into a minors account, so we had to deposit the money into her account and then wait 3 days for the transfer to take place. Apparently, they don't take into account how their policies will affect their customers. I guess their time is more important than ours.

I waited 2 hours in line and sitting just for change, they had one teller and one window open! They need to hire people on or close down and ask customers to close their accounts. Anytime you show up there is a line in side and out. No drive thru service and the inside service is ridiculous.

Have been banking with BOA for many years. They closed the drive-thru teller service forcing everyone to come inside. At certain times the line goes out the door because they have only one teller. Standing in line in the hot Florida sun gives people great opportunity to talk about finding another bank. Its sad but true that BOA has changed in just the last year or so. I hear rumors that they are having financial problems themselves which may be the reason for the changes.
Hi, Jason. We value your business and are sorry that you were disappointed. We’ll certainly be sharing your feedback with our leadership team. Extremely disappointing! Worst Bank of America I've ever been to. They have more security than they do tellers and I'm assuming this is because the service is so bad they need security. Understaffed, long waits and they close for lunch like this is 1950. On top of that after having an account for years they wouldn't cash my payroll check. So I deposited it and they told me that the funds would be available immediately but guess what nope! Most frustrating experience I've ever had in all my years as a customer.

I would like to know why are all BOA branches closed? Last weekend (Saturday) drove around town to find all branches closed on a Saturday, why? Yesterday Friday, Oct. 1 went to do my business with them and they were also closed. Their is no excuse. The branch on Socrom Loop closed now I’m stuck coming to the 98 N and it’s a joke!

I didn't want to go to this bank, but my bank was closed. I waited 45 minutes online to see a teller. I asked for the max amount to withdraw, it took another 45 minutes, because she said I didn't look like the person on the picture. I was wearing a mask the whole time. I showed them five other state and federal ID. No one believed me. But they finally gave me my money. I came back the next day to wait before they opened to beat the line. The BRANCH MANAGER called me by name, and wanted to know what I wanted. I told her withdraw the maxed allowed. She said she wasn't giving me money. She said they were out of money. I went 12 miles away to plant city and got my money in 15 minutes. I am closing this account as soon as possible.

All Bank of Americas are closed in a 20 mile radius of myself.I had to go to this one because it's the only one open. There was a line around the building to get into the building with another line. once inside there was only three tellers. They asked me why it was there I told them for a bigger cash withdrawal than the ATM will let me. Then they said that they were low on cash, and then tried to charge me $15 for a cashier's check. The teller ended up giving me the cash anyways.
