During regular business hour when the bank is open, one of the employees told me there was no teller available and I had to leave

I always come to this bank every Friday to cash my check because it’s close to my job and the TWO emoloyers that always take care of me are super nice and helpful but this bank SERIOUSLY needs more tellers. Only two tellers in a 8 booth bank and JUST to cash a check sometimes takes 15 min is ridiculous.

Attentive, thorough and personal service upon arrival. Mr. Baltodano was gracious, friendly and extremely welcoming to my parents, who needed help and support after leaving devastated PR.

They are nice and all, but the process of signing up for a safety deposit box and the account we needed to sign up for to get it was very confusing.

Summary: don't trust what the bankers tell you, and expect to pay hidden fees for what the banker promised you was included with your account. I walked into the branch with my nine-month pregnant wife last week, seeking to open a new checking account with a complimentary safe deposit box. Banker #1, Paola, was very nice and explained to us that if we opened a certain account with a specific minimum balance, we would get a complimentary safe deposit box. We spent about an hour there, but could not open the box at that time since they only deal with safe deposit boxes on certain days of the week. So, we made an appointment for the next week to get everything taken care of before our baby was born. When we arrived, banker #2 told us that we'd have to pay an annual fee for the account. That was plainly different than what banker #1 told us, so I asked to speak to a manager. The manager came, looked at some paperwork, and confirmed that the account would be free. By that time we had been there for 45 minutes, but he said it would take just 15 more minutes. So we hung around, did the paperwork, put all our stuff in the box. Another surprise, the lock on the safe was busted and we could not put our stuff in. By that time we had to leave for an OB appointment, but planned to return in the afternoon to finish everything. As we drove to the OB, the bank manager called to say that the safe deposit box would not be free after all, but that he would be able to waive the fee for the first year. Fine, we thought; not ideal, but we didn't have the capacity to argue about it. Then, the same manager called again in a couple of hours, only to say he was wrong, they WOULD NOT waive the fee for one year. But we could have the box if we paid the standard fee. I just wish I had never walked into this bank in the first place, I've never had this sort of experience with ANY large, reputable corporation. Also, they lured us in to open an account with them with a false promise, and then don't even have proper policies in place to absorb the mistakes made by their own bankers and managers. Final note: while we were there waiting in the morning, an elderly man was having an argument with some of the other bankers since they would not release some money that was in his account, and he was threatening to close his account with them. My suggestion: find somewhere else to bank that will be professional.

Bank of America, why do you only ever have ONE teller?! There's always a long line at this location and a million people waiting. The tellers are nice enough but pretty slow.

I wanted to see if my local branch provided a specific service before I schlepped there in person. Probably would have been a 5 second phone call. I called 5 times and no one picked up.

This is one of the least helpful branches of BOA. The service is routinely poor and you generally have to wait to be rudely treated.
