We have found both of our Boston-area apartments through Jamaica Plain Rentals and Sales! Rob and Coleman were an awesome team - super responsive, personable, and clear. After a bit of time away from Boston, when we were ready to come back, we reached back out to Rob with details of the type of place we were looking for. He kept us in his mind and was able to recommend a place to us before it even went up on their website! We had a great experience with Rob renting an apartment in Roslindale - found it through one of the home listing sites (zillow, I believe) and he was very responsive, professional, and prompt. After seeing SO many other places, it was great to be able to quickly & easily schedule a showing, discuss the place, submit an offer (slightly below asking!) and get accepted in ~48 hours. We would definitely recommend for anyone looking in the area. He continued to be communicative after we signed the lease, too.
