Great staff. Especially their consulting team, truly outstanding. The woman when you first walk in is always helpful and Akash Kapoor in particular will go above and beyond to help you in anyway possible. They are true professionals.
Excellent! Thanks for sharing your experience and positive feedback about Bank of America. We value having you as a client. ^chris

If you need assistance at this bank, ask for Angela. She is very kind, professional, and offered me a great deal of help when I needed a banking issue resolved.
Hi Noreen. Thanks for letting us know how helpful Angela was during your financial center visit. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know what we’re doing well. ^nicole

This is why I do not bank with this bank. I walked in with a local customers check my identification even my credit cards and because I didn’t have an account there they said their machine wouldn’t read the check although every single number was legible. Then I called the manager over and still without the machine working it will not be possible so basically my customers check is useless at their own bank. I find it hysterical he stupid that a machine that should read a check doesn’t read it and rather than go to try another machine or have the manager manually input it they just refused to help me out. Banking has gone crazy with some banks but this one in particular I can see why the parking lot is empty and so many bad reviews

Let me add my one star review. Other than Glen, who was kind and helpful and went out of his way to help us, every time I go in here I get different problems (different staff go by different rules) and no one is willing to talk to another to try to fix it. Needless to say once my dad's account is transferred to me it will not remain with BOA. I need to get one last piece of paper notarized for BOA corporate and they refused here after notarizing the same document in October. Won't even talk to corporate to sort it out. I will go to my bank and pay to have it done if needed to avoid stepping foot in here again. I have never before yesterday stomped out of a store and hope never to return.

No matter what you are trying to do at this branch (other than use the ATM), it will take FORVER. I have accounts with BoA, Wells Fargo (Advisors--but use the regular branches all the time) and TD Bank. At Wells and TD they are quick and I'm always in and out for simple deposits or cashing checks, etc...AND since I go there (denville branches) so frequently, they know me and always remember my name. But not at BoA--total opposite experience, and I dread having to go there because, like most people, I'm trying to run my errands and get home without wasting the whole day. Also, their hours are TERRIBLE at BoA!!! They open at 9 and close at 4 on weekdays. How is a person working a regular 9-5 supposed to use the branch??! You might think--"well just use the ATM!" But nope!! Not an option either, because the ATM hours are the same as the bank hours (which is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen at any bank)! At BoA, they will have the same number of tellers available (usually 2), but even if I'm next in line, I wait FOREVER. I go in for the same thing once a month and they NEVER remember and then always take a very long time just to cash a check, and they also have to have the manager come override it or check it (I really don't know why they always have to call him over). Also, they NEVER remember my name and their first question after "how can I help you today" is always "do you have an account with us?" You'd think they'd know the answer by now....all the other banks do! I dread going into this place and would use another branch if there was one closer to my home, but unfortunately this is the closes branch to me and the next closest is rather far away. Plus, there's a Wells Fargo in the same strip mall and a TD two blocks away, so the only convenience is the location, as I can visit all 3 in a row if necessary. Oh, and I suppose one other positive aspect is the fact that they WILL let non-account holders cash a check written from a BoA account for free, which many banks don't let you do these days. If you're trying to bank quickly and you can use their online banking tools--do it!! Avoid this branch!!

Bank of America in Denville. Hands down the worst banking experience I have ever encountered. The woman greeting and directing people as they enter the bank was absolutely horrible. I was there to withdraw my disability benefits from the Bank of America card the state gives you. I was no longer in need of the card. This woman did nothing but badger me the entire time I waited for a teller. Telling me every reason I shouldn’t be using their bank to withdraw funds I am entitled to. She kept telling me to go to my own bank which due to my commute, was an over an hour away. She kept telling me to go and use the ATM and print out my balance before entering the bank which was untrue. I can’t express enough how awful and rude she was. When I got to the teller he was excellent and it took him about one minute to confirm my balance to close the card. WOW! That woman needs a lesson from that teller on customer service!! You couldn’t pay me to enter that bank again.

The manager Jigisha (I apologize if I’m incorrectly spelling name couldn’t remember if it’s Jigysha) was absolutely amazing today and so helpful. The teller was great too. Definitely great experience for this customer!! Thank you.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I walk in with a check from a customer and I’m told that they can’t cash it because it over the amount that they could cash. Understandable I guess, but I ask myself “isn’t this a bank?” So I inconvenience the customer and ask if they would write two checks so I could be under the amount needed to cash said check and he was nice enough to do it for me. Return to the bank and now they won’t do it still!!! Said that it “ looked strange” smh never will I bank with boa or will my company... good job 👍🏾

We have been customers of the Denville Bank of America for a long time.... Great service, efficient and friendly. Highly recommend BOA... A Google user below said they put you on hold for an eternity. That has never happened to me. Like any other business they are on the phone a lot .. Not sure the comment reflects the great service they provide.

I’ve banked with BOA for years now & done most of my banking through the Mt. Arlington location which is GREAT. I recently moved so I’ve been using this location & they are awful. Very unfriendly and refuses to do any person to person transactions, always pushes to use the atm for everything. If that is the case why is there always 5 or more people just standing around doing nothing. ANNOYING.
