Everytime I call any of the number, the 1800 number or each store, I'm constantly hung up on without even connecting. The very rare time I do get through, the prompts aren't what they say they are. It's beyond frustrating when trying to fix an issue or get a loan. They collect so much money and yet can't even have a working phone system. Wasted 3 hours of my time waiting and being transfered.

    Response from the owner

If I could give Bank of America a zero I would. For the past week I have been searching for an open B of A branch, to deposit a sizable personal check. Unable to locate an open branch within a normal radius, I called the main customer service number and was told that I could deposit this check online. That didn't work. I found a branch open in Sterling Heights at 44100 Schoenherr Rd and stood in line for 1/2 hour. One teller on a Saturday at 11am, 4 people in front of me and a line out the door. The teller informed me that the other branches are closed, because other employees had covid. Is that why certain branches closed permanently and were knocked down? I work in a hospital and we don't close down when our coworkers get covid. Time to start looking for a more convenient, helpful and friendly bank!

The staff used to be very courteous and would greet the customer and guide them as soon as they walk in, recently this changed, now the customer has to chase after the staff at their desks. They look as a customer and ignore pretending to be on the phone. I will not be coming back to this location nor will I recommend anybody to this branch of Bank of America.

Mortgage representative, Linda Ottenbacher is dishonest. I submitted a loan estimate from NASB bank that had zero origination and processing fees and Linda said Bank of America would match it and offer no fees. She sent our official loan estimate and it is padded with useless and worthless fees that Linda said BOA would waive. Because of Linda, a hard pull was done on our credit. Everytime a hard pull is done, it lowers your credit some. Now we do have really good credit but still, she damages us a little by doing a hard pull under false pretenses. I would never had let her run our credit if she was not going to actually match NASB. Also, she is terrible at returning phone calls.

The worst of the worst. I've waited over 45 minutes to transfer money and to speak to a banker. They called the lady named Rita to help me out, she was helping a customer, the customer left and then she got on her phone and start giggling and laughing while I was sitting and waiting. She did not even acknowledge me know where that she came to say I'll be right with you. Where's management staff need to be retrain tied up profession with customer service

Absolutely the rudest teller I've ever had the displeasure of having to work with. My husband and I recently married, went in with our gifts to ask advice on the best way to deposit all the numous checks, and we were belittled, loudly. The teller was even told by other customers that she was being rude and that we were only asking the proper procedures. Will consider my deposit elsewhere.

    Response from the owner

If I could give this branch 0 stars I would. The MANAGER Tim is beyond rude! The bank teller called him over to get a financial representative to take over with what I needed help with, he cut her off mid sentence and proceeded to tell me that I could not be helped today because both representatives had 11 o'clock appointments. Instead of asking me if I wanted to wait or come back a little later he stated that we would need to make an appointment another day. I stated that it was my only day off and today was the only day I could take care of this. He then stated we can try to have you come in a little later. Never ever had this issue in 10 years of having my account with BOA! Made me want to cancel my account with them. First time attending this location and will never return thanks to Tim.

My husband and I have been to this branch several times and the people are rude and do not want to help. The most recent encounter we had was when we went in to see our options for a mortgage but no one wanted to help us. They took our info and said they would call us the next day. No one ever called. If you want to use bank of America chose another location these people do not want to help you and obviously do not want your business.

It’s “temporary closed” almost every time i go! It’s ridiculous!

Waited to get to my safe deposit for almost two hours. Very bad customer service. Then they close drive thru on Saturday. How convenient, whose glamourous idea was that? BOA is simply garbage.
