We arrived at the Royal Oak location at about 2:40 pm. After waiting an hour for somebody to help us, we were told that they didn't have time to help us. Even though there were two men supposedly working, one of them was doing nothing except walking around the bank. It's a shame that this is how they treat their customers. Unfortunately for them, they will be losing all my accounts.

I’m so sick of driving from one broken Bank of America atm to another. I have numerous business accounts and personal accounts with BOA and the next time I’m unable to deposit MY money in MY account because hours are shortened and ATMs don’t work will be the last time

I’m glad this branch didn’t close permanently! That said, I’ve always had good service here, no issues. Employees are professional and polite. My only complaint is that the branch sits on the ever busy Woodward Avenue which makes coming and going a challenge depending on the time of day, but that’s not the bank’s fault.

I would never recommend Bank of America. Trying to deal with my moms banking the wait is crazy!!! They made me jump through hoops when I have all legal docs necessary, then they didn’t tell me that I should make an appt to come back or that I even had an option. Then I went to another branch and it’s been just as bad and I could hear the customers next to me all upset about their situation as well... this bank sucks!

Someone from this location (which I've never been to and live an hour away from) stating they're an "employee relations manager" had called yesterday and also emailed me but did not state his business. I keep trying to call this location (4 times today alone) and can not get through, no one picks up. I have no idea why they would be contacting me as my local BOA is still currently open. I'm not sure exactly what an "employee relations manager" does, either. I emailed back yesterday asking what it was in regards to and no response. Super weird and frustrating.. I might update my review if I ever find out what's going on.. my local branch has no idea..

Had fraudulent charges on a debit card. They just reject claims saying no fraud happened, case closed. Refile over and over again and they never give any answers just say no fraud and don't cover claim. Stay away from this bank !.... after filling for almost a year. Contacting police and banking regulatory bodies then Bank of America finally said you are correct fraud occurred and finally refunded my money. They avoided paying on this claim with complete malice and intent to obstruct proper procedure. One year later finally paid the claim. SMH

Great service even when busy. Manager keeping the branch organized by greeting customers and sending them to staff members. Also, the person who helped me provided 5-star service, was patient, answered my questions and helped me make decisions on my new account. I would return to this specific branch for any banking issues.

I love Bank of America! bankers are wonderful! I won't ever leave. the Royal oak branch is the best! they go above & beyond to make you feel cared about & respected! they're always available & very eager to help in any way! I just may get their credit card with my control. whatever I chose they accommodate! it's complete banking my way 😉👍🏿💚

I would give no stars if I could. I have been going to this bank since it was Standard Federal Bank. The service is lousy and the tellers snooty. I am always waiting 10 to 15 minutes in the drive through line when I am the only one there. I was actually told by one young banker to use my I-phone for transactions or come into the bank to do business. I don't own an I-phone and I can't walk into the bank because of arthritis in cold weather! What sensitivity training do these people get? It's always trying to sell you something! Today I went to deposit my paycheck and my boss dated it tomorrow by mistake. I told then the check is negotiable when written and signed not the date. They were rude and said come back tomorrow to deposit the check. THESE BANKS DON'T KNOW THE LAW! I wish Standard Federal and other banks were still open. This bank and some of its tellers just suck with snot coming out of their noses!
