Bank of America (with Drive-thru ATM) Centre St, West Roxbury

Some of the worst service a bank can offer. 1 teller while over a dozen customers are waiting in line in times of a pandemic. “Managers” who don’t know procedures and have to “concert” with colleagues about simple tasks every banker should be familiar with. Time to overhaul.

Tried to reach this branch this morning by phone multiple times and nobody would pick up the phone. Ended up having to drive to the location and there were employees literally standing around. Shame they don't answer the phone! This is a large customer service miss!

Good luck getting anything accomplished in a reasonable amount of time here. The line hasn’t budged in the 10 minutes I’ve been standing here, but on the plus side, it’s giving me plenty of time to research local credit unions that actually care about their customers by staffing their locations.

I rarely have to go to an actual bank branch these days, but when I do, I’m never here for less than an hour. I’m always waiting around for someone to help me and the only person who can do it is always busy. If you’re self employed or value your time at all, I wouldn’t stop by this branch.

I took money out from a drive through BoA atm, and one of the ten dollar bills that came out was torn and only about 1/2 remained. I went inside to exchange the damaged ten for an acceptable ten that I could use. The two women at the front desk were very rude and refused to replace the bill. I explained to them that it was their own BoA atm that gave me the damaged money. They said it wasn't their problem and that they didn't accept or exchange damaged money. I had to drive to a different location (Roslindale BoA) where that bank branch exchanged the money for me. When I told them how the west roxbury branch treated me they apologized for that behavior and said that it was not BoAs policy to refuse the exchange of damaged bills. The customer service at this west roxbury location is mediocre and now I understand why it has a rating of less than 2 stars. Avoid going here if you can...

I love this branch! All employees are so professional! And manager of that branch is amazing lady! She is always helping people! And she is knowledgeable, so intelligent and so professional person!

I really don't understand all the negative reviews. We recieved fantastic service that went well above and beyond what you would expect from a local bank. We went to transact the sale of a car on Saturday. The bank manager accommodated us with a last minute appointment with the notary. When the buyer was running late, they held the bank open for us so that we could complete our transaction. Stayed late to count and verify the bills. Treated us and the buyer with upmost professionalism and courtesy. I really can't thank the staff of this bank enough for helping us with everything. Truly phenomenal service. Would highly recommend this branch.

I use the drive thru atm, but be careful pulling out. I forgot about the high concrete step! I tore the rocker molding off my vehicle & caused some underbody damage. My fault, but it should be better marked!

Long lines as usual, and the system sometimes gets down after 40 minutes you're in line.

Terrible customer service. Always one teller. Lines are horrendous. Try going on a Friday. Just pitiful. I am thinking of pulling out my account and going to another bank. The teller Ameline is nice. The management had better wise up and put in at least 3 more tellers
