Bank of America (with Drive-thru ATM) Reviews

45 min for 5 people at 3 pm because management doesn't know they need 2 tellers every office has a person staring at computers, they will say sorry over and over again but will never ever sit down in the second teller chair lol. As far as BOA goes they are almost all bad but this one is special.

I have been banking with Bank of America for many years. I opened my account in the great state of Texas, I have moved a few times and never wanted to change banks. They have always been extremely helpful with either minor or bigger problems. I can not believe that the tellers are rude at all. I have visited the hackensack location a few times and the tellers have been very pleasant and polite. I have seen people being rude towards the tellers. I can understand people getting frustrated by having to wait a bit longer in line to actually see a teller but we MUST ALL be patient. Everyone is always in a hurry now days and specially with this pandemic causing more stress. Come on people, give yourselves 5 extra minutes and be kind towards anyone that provide any kind of public service.
Hello Katarina, Thanks for the review! We appreciate you being a valued Bank of America customer and for sharing your experience. ^phil

My experience with Hackensack’s Bank of America branch was extremely unpleasant – “professional” Bank Teller Luisa was anything but professional. Not only did she attend to my needs with a disdainful attitude, but it took her a significant amount of time to understand even the simplest requests. After waiting more than was necessary, she then hurried me off – I would not recommend her services to any of the local customers, let alone to any bank member.

Avoid this location of the Bank, it is horrible. Just to get the cashiers check I waited for 35minutes, and yes I spent 35minutes. Lady named Luisa works sooooooo slow, I told her that I have an appointment to go and please help me to get out from here as soon as possible. She didn't even say anything. They were talking with each other like, who is gonna go to lunch first and so on.

They should close this bank down. I am calling BOA corporate - this bank has many floor managers/staff just hanging out talking and doing no work. They are useless even when asked a question. The ATM's are constantly having issues at this branch. There are lines 20 people deep and only 1 teller and maybe 1 other working the drive thru. This is consistent as i have been there many many times and it's the same scenario. I don't know how the manager of this branch isn't embarrassed. Also some of the staff hanging out on the floor SHOULD be able to get to work and take some deposits. Pathetic team.

The service at this branch is horrible. I scheduled an appointment to meet with a specialist regarding my account on December 19, 2020. I understood that the bank was busy and waited patiently in Stacy Angus’ office. I didn’t even care that she must have excused herself about 5 times to make sure that clients were keeping a safe distance between them. I work in healthcare and understand and appreciate her doing that. Finally when I was able to have her attention, she was not able to answer my questions, she even reach out to her manager who was also unable to explained to me where my money had gone. After at least an hour, they both advised me that they would have to look more into it but that they will reach out to me with an answer. Today has been about 6 weeks since I was there and I never heard from either one of them. Finally when I called today, Stacy gave me a half fast answer that still does not explained where my money has gone. She offered for me to come back into the bank so she could explained it better. I declined her request, it has been nothing but a waste of time. I would never go back to this branch.

HORRIBLE! This morning, the lady, told us we needed an appointment after we were told that we did not need one. She spent 10 minute explaining to us on how the bank COULD NOT help us because it was too busy this morning.USELESS,!!!SHE WANTED YO CLEAR OUT THE LOBBY IN THE MORNING !!! Really poor service. I made more than an effort to come in person to handle business. She continued to give us an accuse of retrieving paper work and she CAN'T find them. She didn't even have our name or why we were here. This was the bank manager. AWFUL way of treating customers and family members. Complete waste of time. Even closing the account was a problem. DO NOT DO BUSINESS here!!!!!!
