ZERO STAR! I have an account at this bank for many years and I have never needed assistance, they have always had access to all my money and my company's. When I tried to get assistance for a wire transfer, I never felt so mistreated…I was treated so disrespectfully and horrible by the staff. I’ve never experienced this in my life as in the service of this agency. I don't understand how banks struggle to get customers and when they have customers they don't give proper training to employees to keep customers, tomorrow I will be closing my Bank of America account due to poor training of their employees. They were by far the laziest uneducated staff I have ever dealt with.

Once again I experienced the defense mechanism type of customer service when I came into the Bank of America on Cortaro Rd in Marana today. I wanted to close a joint account and was told by the phone customer service I had to go into the bank to do this. Well, after going in the bank, I was informed that actually, I didn't need to go in to do this, I could've done it over the phone. And then when I expressed my concern that I was misinformed by the online representative and how many monthly fees I had to pay because we weren't able to have time to come in together, I was given it's 'not my fault' attitude. First, she said that I wasn't misinformed, it was just that the phone representative misunderstood what I was requesting...which to me is saying that I was confused as well. Actually, the phone representative completely understood me, just like the in-bank employee did, but she misinformed me. This in-bank representative didn't treat me with respect as a customer, she was rude because of my 'interrupting' her when I was trying to tell her that I requested to the phone representative the same as I was requesting from her ...then she said she was sorry, but it wasn't her fault. Please train your customer service representatives to not take anything personally and to not be rude to their customers. Oh, yes, and the customer is valued.

This is my bank. I come every week. They gave no notice of closing, and list hours as Mon-thursday 10am-4. I drive past 2 other BofA branches, so I could deal with my bank today They are closed! Online now says reopening Wednesday, but I dont believe it. The closest open bank is 25 minutes away. So Fridays being closed is a hardship on me to deposit payments. I can't believe they didn't send an email

More times than I can count, this location has been closed without notice or explanation over the last couple months. The business that I manage is across the street and it severly inconveniences me when this happens. Especially when the next closest location on ina only ever has 2 tellers working. A 20 minute drive out of my way to wait another 20 minutes to conduct 30 seconds of banking. Wow....

Made appointment for notary service. Everyone was pleasant and even got us in early. I've always had good luck with this branch. Dermain assisted us today.

Wow this bank was horrible. We’ve never been treated so horribly by a bank in our lives. We have a company that brought 1.5 million through Bank of America last year and have had nothing but trouble from the Cortaro bank. But today sealed the deal that we will never walk into that bank again. We went in because one of the business debit cards was cancelled unexpectedly and they had sent us a new card that I figured I may have thrown away because I wasn’t expecting it. We were worried that we wouldn’t be able to get all of our store credits issued to us due to us getting a new card number which is why we were going in to speak to someone about getting our old card back. When we went in the greeter came to greet us very friendly and John told him what was going on and that we wanted our old card back, he stated that they couldn’t help us and that was only something they could do over the phone. John told them that he’s been trying to call but the hold times were outrageous and he needed to know what to do right away because they were trying to issue us credits. He asked to speak with a manager and a lady stood up from the table where she was sitting listening and said she was the manager and that she was listening. While John was talking to her she would start giggling and smiling while he was obviously frustrated and explaining our issue and she was just saying that they couldn’t do anything we’d have to just call. So John said he was tired of this Bank of America and that he would just close his account and she told him still smiling that he couldn’t if there were pending transactions. So at this point she’s been escalating the situation and doing the opposite job a manager is supposed to and giving us no solution to our problem. While John was trying to pull out our money to close the account she began yelling at him and told us we had to leave or she would call the cops for trespassing (which I don’t believe you can accuse us of if we have an open account). Then John said no I don’t have to leave because you have our money and another big male employee walked up and stood right up in Johns face like he was attempting to intimidate him. (What is going on?!) so John and I left and went to Ina and la cholla bank who we were already transitioning over to because I liked the customer service quality of there staff better (Jamie is great). While there the manager Hector sat with John and they talked about what was going on with the card and he reassured us that the credits will more than likely still link back to our bank account and if they don’t that we could still use the chip from our new card to link them. (Wow what an easy solution!) We came outside to two cop cars blocking our razor from leaving so they could talk to us about what happened at the Cortaro bank. So add public humiliation to the list the Cortaro branch gave us today. The cops were even very friendly to us. After telling us we were apparently banned from Cortaros Bank of America and would get cited for trespassing if we return. (Again what?!) So now we will be driving the extra miles to gladly avoid Cortaro bank and work only with the Ina and la cholla Bank of America. Really Bank of America? Is that your level of business Banking quality you want to be known for?

Never answer their phone... I have been a BofA employee for 11 years and have banked with BofA for over 20 years. I have a business with runs over 500k though my accounts each year, but they want to charge fees for everything. My money is never available same day. I am not allowed to deposit my wifes checks into our joint account without here there or her ID... Terrible decline in service. Considering going elsewhere.

Dermain Linen is amazing and fights for your rights, especially when your account is hacked and your account is cleared out by criminals using Cash App/Cube to hack your account and steal your hard earned money!!! The only thing that is very aggravating is that they are closed a lot of the time.

    Response from the owner

Hi, Daniela. Thanks for letting us know how helpful Dermain was during your financial center visit. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know what we’re doing well. ^Joseph
