Pima Federal Credit Union N Thornydale Rd, Tucson

I've been a member since 1980 and have had excellent service through the years. In particular this year (2022) when I received help untangling an attempted computer fraud that compromised my account information, the staff at the Thornydale branch and their Member Service Rep Arielle O. worked diligently to correct my situation. They treat you like family here...better, maybe!

It is ironic that their slogan is “Live Life to the Fullest” because it should be “Live Life stuck in a purgatory of long phone calls with awful customer service.” I’ve been a member since 2010 and if only I could cancel, but unfortunately the customer service has gotten so bad that I can’t. 40+ minutes of wait time on the phone, the mobile app is unusable and so laden with bugs that it isn’t even worth an attempt at a download. It’s sad to watch these local credit unions turn awful but that’s where we are at.

I went to PFCU to open a savings account for my daughter. We walked in sat and waited for about 40 minutes. No one acknowledged us. We sat and waited patiently since there was no sign in sheet. Then a young red head approached us and asked if we made an appointment, we had not. She then told us we needed to make an appointment, though she saw us sitting there since we first walked in, it would have been nice if she told us right away. I was very disappointed and confused with their customer service. I went to Hughes and they helped us right away it was like night and day.

Jenna was phenomenal to work with! We inquired about an auto loan and it was such a quick and painless process. When I came back a day or two later to pick up the check, Jenna recognized me immediately and quickly retrieved the check for me and I was out of there in about 90 seconds. Switching from Hughes FCU to Pima as soon as we can.

Got a commercial loan through Pima Federal using Adam Coggshall. The experience was so much better than every other loan we have shopped for. We would love to use them more, but unfortunately they only loan in the immediate area. I called up Adam again today to ask him a tax question and he really went above and beyond getting us the information.

I was excited about moving my accounts to a credit union. I feel like i was dealing with a used car salesman. Lots of promises, but very little delivered. If i wanted a bank that I could not call, I could have stayed with Wells Fargo.

Every time I go inside I am greeted with smiles and the lines go fast. Every interaction is done with their full attention and with great timing. Pima Federal Credit Union has many opportunities when anyone becomes a member and it's a good ole fashion feeling every time you walk in.

I was really happy until their online app switched. I've been on hold for over an hour twice trying to get it fixed. 1 hour and 15 minutes in right now...

Wonderful in person. If you ever need to call them expect at least a 20 minute wait. Customer noservice

Has been my bank for over 15 years. Great service, helpful when there are problems. Have had multiple home and car loans through PFCU and they are way above average when compared with banks. Highly recommend.
