Bank of America (Lobby Service Only) S Mccall Rd, Englewood

BOA is one of the biggest banks in this country, if not the biggest, and they don't have any drive through services? Even all of the smaller, local banks have them. Not only that, but they usually only have one teller and I have to wait in line just to deposit a rent check. This makes absolutely no sense... unless it's by design for a particular reason. Yeah...

I have been visiting this department for a long time, I often turn to a bank employee, but every time I am disappointed in the service. I wanted to make an appointment, the manager said that everything was scheduled for a week in advance, but I just turned around and left without saying goodbye or suggesting another time. Feelings of overworked and overwhelmed employees, but offices are empty, staff shortages or job cuts raises concerns about reliability of the bank

Stay away! The worst bank ever. I've been a BOA customer for many years. I'm done with them. Unfortunately this is the only one left in the area after they closed the one in Rotonda and on Dearborn. It takes forever to do anything in this bank. It's also completely closed a lot of the time with the night drop taped shut, no drive thru (really?) and the ATM's are out of cash constantly. I have to us BOA for work. That's where my company has a national account. We go to Port Charlotte most of the time because this place is so unreliable for deposits and change. I wish Google would have a "zero" stars option to leave a review. If there was ever any business that deserved a zero, this is surely it!

This branch NEVER has enough tellers to help the clients. Not sure who's to blame except the banks manager. Very, very poor service. Everytime I go there I have to wait at least 15 + minutes to be served. My bank in Virginia wasn' much better. I give Bank of America a big fat F in customer service. If I ran a business like they do it would have gone under a long time ago. Sad state of affairs. Shame on the them !!!!!

TERRIBLE. Went on line to book an appointment. Nothing available through February!!! Have a family crisis and need to see someone asap. So much for quality service and customer care.

Great staff. These other reviews are basically incorrect. Impatient people with bad attitudes. I've been with boa for 20 years with zero issues with any staff anywhere. I've been across the country and the service remains the same. Covid has been a burden on everything. I feel safety has been the highest priority. Times are tough. These folks deal with rude customers in a professional manner. I wouldn't pay much attention to the bad reviews.

What is going on with this bank? Seems the service in general is lacking. Update: Is there a reason the bank is closed today 6/22? There a sign on the door says closed till the 28th no reason provided. WHY?Then you wonder why you have so many upset customers. It is extremely frustrating to deal with this branch especially when I get here during normal business hours to find it closed.

This bank definitely needs more tellers. Just waited a very long time to access only one teller. Seems like they had plenty of other staff flitting around (at least 5 others). Poor service!!!

There’s no one to answer the telephone. Pretty unbelievable, when you are serving a community w mostly seniors. I went through the phone loop 3x.
