I had never been to a pawn shop before today. I went in to sell my item of of despair to meet basic needs until starting my new job. I worked with Martin who did everything he could to help me. I am so thankful. The entire staff is very friendly. They have many items that I would love to purchase that are high quality. I will definitely go back. I highly recommend working with them.

I picked up a used tennis racket and the staff were very helpful and pleasant, great communication and customer service!!! I would definitely go there again. They have the cleanest most organized shop I’ve seen! They work as a team and are warm and friendly!!!

It’s been a good while since I went to a pawn shop, so when I asked around for a good one to look at during a visit here to SWFL, and Loan Star was the one that was recommended. As soon as I walked in, I can certainly see why! Everything was clean, the staff was very welcoming...Tanya was very helpful and kind. We all have times in our lives when emergencies pop up and the need of getting cash is desperate. And in past experiences, going to a pawn shop has been disappointing. They typically ask how much you are looking for and then you leave not getting anything close to what you asked for. But, then there's Loan Star Pawn! Wow!! The North Port location left me shocked and extremely happy! The people that work there were extremely professional and courteous. If your looking for a pawn shop, where the people really care for your best interest, this is the best place to go!

Great fast customer service. Treated me well and gave me a good deal on a rifle lower. I have completed multiple gun transfers with them and I plan to continue using them for my next one. I would recommend this shop to anyone.

This store has a wonderful selection of ammunition in all calibers, including the harder to find handgun calibers. The staff there were nice and well informed. I will be sure to stop there again when in North Port.

They have an amazing selection of Authentic Louis Vuitton bags and wallets and were able to order a specific one I wanted. Some even look almost new but they were all well cared for and certified, I'll be recommending your shops to my friends and family!

Lovely little local pawn shop, staff is highly eager to assist with questions and seems to have good sense of judgement on pricing. They offer tvs, computers, bikes, and collectables, although I cannot personally recommend weapons, they do carry guns and such, but seem to be responsible with their merchandise. If you can get past the slightly uneasy feeling of the focus on weaponry, this is still a store I feel holds up to snuff. The truck outside is an interesting sign itself, and its a little hard to find, but its still a winning store with lots of character.

When I went to pick up a gun transfer, there were already 4 others doing the same. But these guys and gals are good. We were all processed and out of there in less than 30 minutes. Plus they have a nice selection of firearms themselves. The last transfer I did I also bought a gun from them.

I used Loan Star for an FFL transfer and have found my new go-to for any transfers I need to do in the future. The staff is friendly, and the price for a transfer is the most reasonable around. Also, the NP location has a good 2A selection, and that includes ammo in stock.

My boyfriend and I went in today and had a wonderful experience. Tanya and Rob were very helpful and were able to make a deal with me. If you’re looking for a great pawn shop, with a friendly team, this is the place for you!

Martin a the whole crew here are so amazing! Been in a jam a few times and all I had to do was call and they had no problems figuring out a solution. They are always professional but in a family/best friend type of way. If I ever need a loan again, I'll never go anywhere else!! Thanks guys!!

Tanya is very helpful. The Store Staff in general are very professional and courteous to all Customers. They greet you when you come in but don't crowd you. I have been in some Stores where you're made to feel like a Crook being watched. I would highly recommend this Store to anyone wanting to get a Deal on whatever they might be looking for or just a short term Loan.

Stopped by loan star looking for a new computer. Found an awesome iMac. Staff was pleasant and very helpful. They answered all my questions and alleviated and issues or concerns I had. Lots of cool stuff. Definitely a great place to swing in and browse. Find yourself a treasure or two.

Great place! I have been to both the Port Charlotte and North Port locations! They are both very easy to do business with. They make the process very simple. All staff is very professional and friendly. They are fair when it comes to pawning firearms, etc.. and they also have great prices on firearms, tools, etc. I have pawned a couple of guns with them, and they always try to make the transaction quick and pleasant. I will definitely be back for any future needs when it comes to pawning or purchasing a gun. Will recommend highly to friends and family!

the man in there was extremely rude telling me to get my stuff and leave. refused to make eye contact when speaking and wouldn’t put down his pizza to discuss numbers with me. absolutely disgusting. i also found out they only offer up to 1/3 of the going price. i see this place has good reviews so i hope the other employees are better.
