Bank of America (Lobby Service Only) FL, New Smyrna Beach

Lisa was Amazing!!! She went above & beyond to help me understand and take care of my situation. Keep up the good work. She has been providing excellent customer service for 20 + yrs, so if there is anything you need ask for her.

The ATM has more personality than these tellers. I caught her in lies, stall tactics and delays is all they do. And I'm an account holder 20 years. I feel sorry for anyone that doesn't have an account there. One walk-up ATM on top of everything else. When I went to cash a cashier's check they said they didn't have enough money. I would have to make an appointment 24 hours ahead of time to get that kind of money. Status quo at Bank of America no one wants to help you. If they don't have enough money to cash their own cashier's check then what does that tell you? I would not open an account here or give them any of my business

Nearly every time I try to deposit a check at this branch an older blonde woman will tell me it cannot be processed at this time (4×). The checks are always from my mom, who's law firm I work for pt, who happens to also be on my account. One time I asked that they call her and they did and then deposited that check after talking to her and every other time I didnt want to bother her at work but she would call the bank later and they could never find an issue with why this teller would have refused to deposit the check. We started doing mobile transfer or mobile deposit but sometimes I want to actually go to the bank bc I need cash back.. it just makes no sense. Two account holders who only bank with Bank of America and are just normal, clean (not florida looking people or something) continually having actual bank of america checks be refused at bank of america. It's completely bizarre. I dont know if this woman is the issue or if this location just has bad computers or if there is some other issue but it's sort of pointless that this branch even exists if you cant actually bank there.

The Banking Industry needs to realize that they are a service and resource that people use, not the other way around!! Thanks fully Banks have plenty of competition and I recommend not using BOA

So aside from having four lanes and only using ONE.. they do not even have a teller for just that lane. So upon realizing I lost my deposit slip the lady at the window tells me next time I drive in the drive thru without a deposit slip I need to walk inside. Friends bank blows you guys out of the water!!! Hire more help if you don’t have time to be nice to your customers. Telling a customer with a broken foot and a seven month old baby that if they do not have a deposit slip they need to go in to the lobby and get one..... seriously. Lisa needs some classes on how to talk to customers. Very unprofessional in our little community. I’ll stick with my Edgewater branch!!

I have been dealing with Bank of America for 30 years. The New Smyrna branch is the worst branch I have ever had to deal with. Parking is horrible, they close the drivethorough with no notice. Tellers are condisending and the ATM seems to be out of service frequently. The answer is use another branch . I have suggested they add another ATM beachside however I am told it's up to the corporate office. When you are the only BA branch close by you can be as arrogant as you want. New Smyrna is a beach town during the summer traffic is unbearable at times. The town is growing fast and with it comes more dilemas accessing the bank.

Visiting from out of town and needed Notary Public services...pleasant woman greeted me at lobby abd quickly set up afternoon appointment. Karen, the NP, quickly and pleasantly notarized our docs. She also explained extra benefits we were entitled to... No sales pitches. No charge for notarizing docs. Docs copied for us. All employees masked and using skel gel. Great service.

Terrible customer service from the tellers and “assistant manager” she says she is the manager so that she doesn’t have to get the actual manager when she doesn’t want to deal with people . Same woman told me to go to the branch that I regularly bank with because she won’t fix my issue . My wife and I have 2 accts 1 just used for eBay and 1 for our saving and checking ... the eBay acct got overdrawn but our main acct has 10,000 plus dollars in it but the same woman still will not help me or do anything but basically tell me “ I’m not helping you “ and they don’t care what customer service says . Tomorrow my wife and I will be withdrawing all Of our money and transferring it over to sun trust .... I thought Bank of America had bad customer service ... well that was nothing until dealing with this branch in the last 2 days .

Wanted to buy a classic car and withdraw money. I only wanted to take out $20,000 cash and was told they dont have that money and I would need to make appt. This is why people should buy crypto currency, banks are failing to service customers. How does somebody buy a Ferrari cash or an expensive boat if they cannot handle 20k? In the 1980s-1990s I never had a bank tell me I couldn't take my own money out.imagine when stock market collapses..what then?

Went to cash a check for an elderly lady. I went to this bank her bank. I explained to teller, I told her the lady was at home attached to her oxygen. She still was going to charge her. I took the check back and called them all uncarring thieves. Who gets the 8 dollars?
