Bank of America Financial Center Sonoma Blvd, Vallejo

My mother and father have been banking with Bank of America for over 35 years. This particular one since 1995, hear me out here because it’s really atrocious. This past Holiday someone made a false debit card and online banking transfers with their main checking account . My poor mom was devastated because these people had access to their account and stole all of my parents money. My dad has Dementia, so my mom handles all the finances. My mom spent our entire Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, trying to explain this. The bank acted like they didn’t believe her. They finally closed that acct, made a claim, said these crooks couldn’t do it again. They end up getting into my moms new acct. and still being able to use my dads info and steal their money again. Long story short? The bank after all this closed the case without telling my mom, and they said because they had false information in my dads name they believed it was him. Even though the first acct was closed because he has Dementia he’s not able to do any of that. I told my mom if your bank doesn’t know you and your pattern after all these years? You need a new bank, so please enter at your own risk knowing that they will not take your side, they allow elderly people to continue getting robbed. It made me think the bank people were in on the scam. Just sayin. Thank you for listening 🙏🏽

I been coming to this branch for years and never had a problem with the personal. They have always given me the service that I needed. The staff has been beyond helpful and nice. Thank you!

This bank over the last 20 years has continuously decreased in customer service. It is the main service branch for Vallejo and the only one open since Covid. The Springs Rd & American Canyon branchs have been closed since March. One would think that if you only have the one branch open it would be completely staffed with employees from all of the branchs. I use three different banks Wells Fargo, Redwood Credit Union and Bank of America and with the money Bank of America has one would think customer service would be a high priority. If they didn't pay the corporate types so much money they would be able to afford quality, skilled, available, intelligent, and reliable branch tellers. I get Vallejo doesn't rate high on their list of service centers but we are people just like the wealthy types in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Santa Barbara and NewYork our money is just as green as theirs. I understand people's tempers are running high about now but give us little guys a break and get some people to staff this branch soon or you may end up having a mass exodus of customers. The other banking institutions seem to be weathering the storm well I would hope Bank of America would get its head out of its _ss soon.

When I went about 9:20 am, the line was already long. I think I waited 20 minutes. Saw a man arguing with teller about changing his bank due to continous errors from B of A. The customer service seemed to be lack luster there. It's a very different vibe from the one on Springs Rd. And didn't realized you now have to show id to desposit money.

The customer service was very slow. One teller open which 5 other employees standing around. The line had 3 customers when I came in and grow to the door while I waited for 15 minutes

No matter the day or time, every single time I have come here the service flat out sucks. I thought that maybe during the pandemic they became short staff but no. They stated they are full staffed. Only 2 to 3 tellers max for business line and regular line which of course the businesses take priority so they get to walk up and get help. I stood in line for 15minutes and didn’t move 1 space. Other days I stood in line for 45min to an hour just to get a cashiers check. Staff didn’t even ask if there was anything they could help. Something’s gotta give. I hope things improve, It’s a convenient location but maybe staff doesn’t have support or a manager who cares

Worst BOA branch I've visited to date. Out of the three tellers present, only one was taking clients while there was a long line. 1 hr wait in line to get to teller who was rude and practically asked me to yell the amount i wanted to withdraw. To top it off, they ran out of $100 bills and had to give me large sum in $20s!!! Wouldn't even put the amount in envelop. No sense of privacy or respect for clients. Considering changing financial institute.

I came by today and they REFUSED to CASH MY CHECKS WITHOUT A REASON! That's INSANE!!!! They say l had to deposit them instead. They said that it was the only way l could get my money. They refused to serve and they didn't give an exact explanation why. When l say them, I'm refering to the manager Jenel Martin and the teller Sana. I visited the place other times and the manager has been very rude to other clients. But that was none of my business untiI now. I suggest BANK OF AMERICA corporates to take a look at this review and others as well. I hope you solve the problem soon or you're going to keep losing clients and that's not what a business is about. The worse service ever!!!

I don't know about other employees, but Janice was so helpful walking me through some steps that can greatly improved my BOA experience.
