Bank of America Financial Center El Cajon Blvd, San Diego

Never enough tellers. All Bofa locations close at 4pm now. Many locations are closed. After 20yrs of doing business with them, I'm looking for a new option.

The Mgr Jessica is cool, and that's the only good thing about this place. Just don't come to this bank, or any bank of America. I don't even bank here, and for good reason. If you are here to see an accounts specialist (or whatever they are called), forget it. This bank has no way to track who came in when. There's a guy sitting here for over 1hr and someone claimed to be before him. And now the 400lb security guard comes in. There's a good reason why this bank has 28 reviews with 1.9 star rating.

Upsetting that I made it to the line before 4pm and two Bank of America employees told me that I was not able to get in the line anymore! I explained that it was not 4pm yet... Then she told me that by the time the people in the line got to the door it was going to be 4 or passed 4 pm already. So the people in the line will be by the door passed 4pm and they are able to go in and not me?! I understand the difficult times nowadays but their customer service should be the same as before. I work in a busy office and most of the time I’m running to make it to the bank. There has been other times in which I’m by the door five minutes before they close and I they always let me in. Will go to a different location next time.

This brach has the worst customer service I've ever seen! Plan on waiting a good amount of time for their 2 tellers to get through the line of people waiting every day! Time to find another bank!

Tony Phan is an excellent loan officer. He got us our condo in these tough buying times. This guy reaches far and wide to get you signed and into your own place. Great job buddy!!!!

Customer service is trash!!! Don’t open a credit card, savings account or ever a debit card at this cheap as bank they will rob you of your money!

Why would you have two windows when your line is always out the door. You know exactly how many people use this branch. You charge fees for everything but somehow can't open more windows?

If I could rate this location and Katina Gonzalez a negative number of stars, I would. My children and I rushed in at 1:58 pm. The bank closes at 2. There was a long line of customer already waiting to be helped inside. She refused to allow us in and they hadn’t even closed yet! I have been a customer for 15 years. I plan to close my account and go elsewhere. This was disgusting. It’s my only day off of work and I needed to perform a simple but very important transaction. This is wrong on so many levels.

I normally get direct deposit for my paychecks, but this time I got a paper check. When I came into the bank to cash it, I was told a hold would be placed on the check until they could call and verify it. This happened on a Friday after 6:00pm. Appolonia came and advised that I could put the check in the ATM direct deposit and IF there would be a hold on the check, the machine would give an option to hold it or give the check back to me. I deposited the check and there was no "option" given. The ATM took my check and let me know I would NOT have access to my money until Monday. Everything I have to do over the weekend will have to wait until Monday....

Terrible Bank..Always a huge line vs. 1 or 2 tellers. They also have a business line that I am never able to use despite having a business...because they only have it opens Mondays and Tuesdays and close it at 4pm. This is convenient for me especially because those are my busiest days and can't make it till after 5.
