Bank of America Financial Center Reviews

Very disappointed with the service. I made two appointments, they canceled them both on their end. I still took time off and came because I needed to fax the paperwork. Laura Torres told me that she doesn’t have time but she will take my paperwork and will send it later. She promised to call me back to confirm that she actually did it. Never received a call back.. don’t know if she sent it or not..

I was never taught the correct mindset about credit and I was interested to learn more about it, credit cards specifically. Laura was patient and kind to work with, made me very comfortable with an uncomfortable topic for me. Would recommend her services to anyone I know.
Thanks for the review! We’re glad to hear about your great experience and hope you’ll consider Bank of America for your future banking needs.^alex

The manager and James are amazing! I had a big problem with my account and they did everything to help me. The bank closed at 4 pm and they kept me there until 6 pm working hard on my case. (The waiting time wasn’t their fault, they just wanted make sure my problem would be solved that day) Thank you very much! Also, I went there before and one of the employees was super helpful too! THE BESTS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It is not fair that they only open from Monday to Friday and now they reduce the hours, the service should improve
We are doing our best to remain open to serve our clients while implementing changes within our financial centers to follow CDC and government guidelines. As such, some locations may be either temporarily closed or operating at adjusted hours. Came to get a temporary debit card (while waiting on a replacement) and had to make an appointment as a last customer because ,apparently, they were too busy that day.I was the only person in the whole bank and the next available appointment was in 2,5 hours. Also,I had to present 3 different ID’s and get the manager’s approval in order to make this appointment. That’s considering the fact that I’ve been their customer for 5 years now, have 2 credit cards, a debit card and savings account and my credit limit has increased recently as well. Do I really need the manager’s approval in order to access MY MONEY???????Because I’ve never had this problem before at any other Bank of America location. Went to suburbs, the bank was crowded but waited 2 min and got my temporary debit card in no time. And no appointment needed. And one ID worked just fine. Not to mention that I was helped by the manager of that location. If I could give this place zero stars for lacking the ability of interacting with customers,I would.I’m not sure if the bank teller had a bad day or she stands by the principal of discriminating white people.Either way,I refuse to go back ,even though I’ve been helped several times by Grant and he’s absolutely amazing!

This place is a disaster! .. Refuse to allow me to speak with anyone regarding my account even though they had no one there. Said I needed an appointment. Then a trainee was left alone at the cashier counter and she seem to not have a clue to do the simple transactions. Went for help twice. Then after all that I still didn’t get finished doing all I needed to get done.Another worker came and said that because she’s new she Not authorized to do something a second time I didn’t understand I just left After 15 minute wait and 20 minutes at the counter waiting for them to figure it out. Just a waste of my time stopping in there.

Scheduled a 930am telephone appointment with home loan officer at this branch and received confirmatory email. Did not receive call from home loan officer. Attempted to call this branch 30 minutes later at 10 AM and no one is available to pick up the phone. I will be looking elsewhere for financial services.

Needed to make some changes on the account and they told me I need an appointment, very inconvenient. Will close my account with BofA since I can close it over the phone. Will just use Chase, they have a lot more convenient customer service on site

Bank Of America is the worse company I have ever dealt with. They lie. It takes a long time for anyone to answer customer service and then they transfer you. One lady I talked to that works there said customer service agents will just tell you what you want to hear. Their zero liability for fraudulent transactions is false, they don’t stand by it. They have lied to me so many times it’s disgusting. Check out I hate Bank of America on Facebook, see what they are doing to other customers.

Bank of America has reduced their hours and closed offices in Chicago. They are only open during limited hours and it makes it difficult to do business. They closed the branch temporarily in Wicker Park. Had to drive aross city to get to a different bank - and they closed early. When calling their customer service - no one answers. Frustrating.
