Bank Midwest Shawnee Dr, Kansas City

Honestly the worst bank ever. Staff likes to ignore customers and “misplace” over a thousand dollars more than once. I suggest not to go through this bank it’s not worth it i wouldn’t even give 1 star.

I have been banking with this branch for 12 years and Gail was my go to for all my business and personal needs. When she retired I was a bit skeptical but I must say to my most pleasant surprise that Samantha has not missed a beat! My business partner and I had some difficulties with one of our accounts that took nearly 2 days and lots emails/phone calls for us to get her docs. Samantha was as pleasant from the first conversation until the last. She handled everything with the precision and expertise we have grown accustomed to. I couldn’t be happier to be in new hands!

The ONLY reason I still bank here after it seems like EVERY TIME the ATM is out of money...is the fact that I can call Gail or Robin or even Naomi and they help me with everything I need over the phone EVERY DAMN TIME! I spoke with Gail today to tell her that I was writing this review because in today's world customer service is S***! Everyone is quick to write a bad review but it's also nice to compliment a well job done! There are 2 other employees that I'm not sure work there anymore...but if so I will shout out to you also if I see you in the bank/drive thru again! SOMEBODY GIVE THESE WOMEN SOME DAMN RAISES!!!

Opened a business account here only because it's next door to my store. Terrible. Tellers are slow. I used to be a bank teller in college and I could handle customer transactions in half the time. Personal banker should have her own drawer so she could hop behind the teller line during a rush. Not here. $500 Max daily limit on debit pin transactions is ridiculously low. Never had a bank with such a low max on debit cards, I can't even buy a TV at Walmart for $500. Normally I use debit card to purchase money order at post office but I haven't received my debit card and needed a cashier check to pay the store rent and they charged me $7. Least they could've done is waive the fee since it was a new business account and I haven't received my debit card.

They are so freaken slow makes me wanna decide on changing banks. Sooooooo sloooowwww been waiting 30 min to unblock my card REALLY!!! Employees look bored and service is unpleasant not very happy at this bank about to change banks seriously

Extremely disappointed with Bank Midwest in general. With my experience when I have duplicate charges especially from Seven Eleven they are incapable of retrieving my money on multiple occasions. I previously banked w UMB and they were always very efficient in reversing my money. I'm disappointed that they are not concerned with getting my money. They are incompetent and have no desire to help in this type of matter.

Wonderful service very professional. I had a problem with my account the branch manager Mina. Helped me resolve it she understood the common sense that all branch managers should have. After five minutes of explaining my problem with her it was resolved immediately. I normally go over and deal with the bank located off of State ave. I will no longer be dealing with them. I was actually planning on finding another bank next week after the horrible experience with the State Ave branch manager. But after dealing with the other branch. I'm happy to say that I'm a bank midwest bankster lol.

Wonderful staff- very friendly, professional and will go the extra mile. Very clean and well kept branch, too. I will continue to come back every time for all of my financial needs!

Tellers are slow and rude. Pay attention when you pull up to the bank to go inside. Most of the parking spots in the front parking lot are taken up by the workers instead of parking on the side of the building. That shows you what they think about customer service.

They "upgraded" their system,,I used to get my direct deposit notification on Wednesday night,,now I don't even get one,,money used to go in on thursday, now not until Friday,,and their ATM is always down,,,I only gave 1 star because I couldn't give them zero!!!!
