Horrible Experience - Spouse has had accounts for over 30+ years so thought this would be easy - no. Started online applications December 14 2021 and trying to open/add two checking accounts. Got assigned to an Amanda in Online banking and struggled with getting things. Told me I had to come in to sign in person for verification, so I got her schedule and came in, not there and no one at the bank could help me. Emailed her again... Now we are in mid-January and I still have no accounts that I wanted effective January 1. Kept sending in same emails to verify, with no response or receipt with verification emails... Finally had to get my spouse involved to get things set up. Never got confirmation or call of my account numbers or how to sign on to the online accounts... I had to call the 1800 number for help and let them know issues. At that time I requested a manager to call me in regards to the experience - NO CALL BACK FROM ANYONE. Then setup online would not work, and struggled to get this fixed. THEN, got atm/debit cards in the mail to set up, could not get them set up. I called in the 1800 number and turns out they had the wrong social on the account. My online I filled out had everything correct. Now they have to have me show back up in person to get verified and I have to bring SS card and photo ID. This time I schedule with the branch manager, Marty, January 31st now. I explained the issues that I have had from the very beginning, but Marty informed me that he was not responsible for that and couldn't do anything, really showed he didn't care. He got me verified and I resigned , but now my husband has to go and sign too... I have requested that someone contact me again about this situation and the horrible process, at this point I don't think they really care. Should never take a month and a half to open a simple joint checking account. I will not be moving ANY of my other accounts to this bank, nor will I ever refer anyone. May not even leave this joint account we opened. Horrible experience. Where has the customer service gone?

Always a good experience for me at MS - I don't feel invisible to the Tellers, they are always polite and friendly. Usually all my needs are met Online or in the drive-thru, but I used the change-counting machine to make a deposit at the Mission Branch - I'm not sure where else I could go for that service. The customer (member) ahead of me had poor communication skills but the Teller was patient and helpful - more than I would have been inclined as the customer just wasn't listening (I could understand 15 feet away), or maybe needs to get hearing aids. I looked at my teller's name tag but now don't recall to mention her.

Love the Mainstreet mobile app. It makes banking so easy. I can instantly transfer funds and even apply for a loan on the app. I love the hometown feel when you go into the bank. Everyone is very friendly and helpful.

Today was Saturday and PayDay. At Several of your branches, there were only two or maybe three tellers working. I had to wait more than 40 minutes at one particular Branch located in Kansas City Kansas off of State Avenue. The girls are moving very slowly. So I drove clear across town to Johnson Drive. In Shawnee Mission Kansas. Again only two people working! People were very upset in line. This was a Payday and Saturday. Very frustrating. Can you please tell me what the heck is going on there at your bank?

Recently purchased a car. Was pre-approved at MainStreet. When time came to purchase, my loan was exactly as planned. No surprises. I bought from a dealer out of town, and process could not have been easier. My loan officer was Cheyenne Smith. Great experience. Thank you!

This bank has been consistently holding my payroll direct deposit for 1 full day. It stays pending that long and Mainstreet agent says they don't hold them in pend status on multiple phone calls but they do.

Great credit union, always take care of there customers! Them giving me a chance on a 500 dollar credit card to build my credit score years ago changed my life!! I now own a house and new car. Everyone that thinks they can’t fix or build credit should talk to a Person at mainstreet!!

My new debt card was ordered on March 7th and it is March 26th, I still do not have it. When I asked when I would get it she said I should have already received it. When I asked her to please find out where it is she told me that the bank does not track them because that would cost money. So I guess these banks that make millions of dollars off of us cannot be bothered to spend a penny to ensure we are able to access our money.
