Ascentra Credit Union W 53rd St, Davenport

I am very disappointed with my experience with this credit union especially Jennifer Hudson. We went in trying to get a heloc they told us everything was going to be fine told us our appraisal will pass no problem. Well our appraisal did pass and we could have gotten a good chunk of our debt taken care of but they decided it wasn’t worth it for them after putting us through everything and wasting our time and now charging us an appraisal fee. This bank is horrible I don’t know why anyone would go to them go to vibrant if you want to get your money’s worth.

As far as im concerned Ascentra Credit Union is the best banking system in America. 8 yrs ago my credit was shot with their help they got me on track and my credit score couldn't be any better. I would highly recommend going to them for advice and loans. I've had nothing but great experiences. Tks for reading

Stay away from 1800 Brady locations. Horrible customer service. Mgr. Valerie is unprofessional & not honest. She is also not customer friendly or open to African American customers. Didnot assist me at all and lied about her effort. Ru !!!

Don't bother calling been on hold for 15 mins can't get ahold of anyone really getting sick of this bank and their constant high call volume bs

Since I’ve had my mortgages I’ve had nothing, but issues! I’ve gone to the two Davenport branches, and they seem to screw up my transactions often. I’ve tried to pay extra towards the principle of my loan. I’ve had a teller pull interest out of the payment, and then put it in my escrow account. I confronted her about her mistake, and she was unwilling to fix the issue or to find someone that could fix it. I’ve tried paying more towards principle several times and I get the run around. The tellers tell me that if I don’t pay on the date the payment is withdrawn from my account interest will be taken out of the additional payment too. I then talked to a loan officer, and she said that was not correct, and sent out an email. Guess what happened the next 4 times I tried to pay extra towards the principle of my loan same issues all over again. More recently I just bought a second house and set up getting a second mortgage, and a home equity loan through them. I tell the loan office I’d like my house pmt, and Home Equity to be automatically withdrawn from my account just like how my old house is currently set up. She screws it up as well. Somehow my pmt for my old house stops getting automatically withdrawn, and only my new house pmt is being automatically withdrawn. As for my home equity loan it never was set up to have the pmt automatically withdrawn. I talk with a teller at the Bettendorf location, and explain to her what happened, and she straightens that issue out. Now I’m looking at my bank statements and my home equity loan pmt was withdrawn from savings like it’s suppose to be. The amount isn’t reducing the total balance even know it shows its being applied. Guess what now I have to call, and talk to someone about this problem as well. Hopefully when they fix this issue 10more problems don’t occur! Please start training your staff!!!!!

The tellers from this bank is alright, not the friendliest, but i've seen worst . If you need to deal with the member solutions department tha'ts a whole different story. Kathy from the member solution department is one of the most unprofessional and most rude employees there. She doesn't talk to people with any respect. This is by far the last bank I suggest you do business with, especially if your looking for a bank that will do anything they can to help you.
