I have never been more disappointed in what once was a great banking institution. They have proven themselves woefully unable to properly handle the merger, stimulus checks, and the COVID-19 crisis as a whole. I would not advise anyone to open an account with Armstrong, and I suspect that they will lose a lot of exisiting customers such as myself. I was with Republic for over 10 years, but I will be leaving Armstrong bank as soon as possible.

Republic Bank & Trust fits my personal finance and business needs. I highly recommend RBT for high quality banking services such as checking, savings and operating accounts. Their interest rates are usually higher than the big bank lenders but lower than local competition. However, I typically don’t let some money in interest get in the way because RBT makes up for it in service. Also, if you really want to be a part of the community and local economy RBT is the place to put your money.
