Farrell Barber definitely does not follow the "collector's pledge." He is very RUDE and disrespectful. He informed me that no matter who I speak with to escalate my issue with him, he's gonna get credit from it anyway. I asked him if I could get the details in writing, as I definitely hadn't heard of the company before, so wanted to confirm that it was a valid debt collection agency before providing my banking details to provide him with $600. He responded "Are you trying to pay the collection or not!?!? It doesn't affect me, it's your credit" I had the call transferred to his supervisor who had the same exact attitude. Please send my debt elsewhere, because I don't want to pay him a dime. His customer service is trash.

*****SCAM***** I received a phony bill from this scammer. I have contacted the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), looks like it's not a legit collection company at all. Do not give them your private information!!!!!

Received a phone call from this number. It was a pre-recording stating a bill was owed for my daughter, and I kept waiting for a person but instead the recording just hung up. So, I called back and was attacked by a man who wouldn't let me speak. He YELLED at me and I simply wanted to explain that my child does not owe any debts and even pay the debt. Instead, he yelled at me and became verbally aggressive until I was shaking all over. Then he puts me on hold for a supervisor. I waited for 12 minutes and decided to hang up and call back to attempt to ask what business this is and who in the world that man was so I could mail a complaint to the head office. Instead, I got someone who was kind but very skeptical of my questions and then forwarded me without asking to a supervisor. The supervisor gets on the phone and she is just as bad as the man with whom I tried to speak. This is place operares illegally and they are the most unprofessional business I have EVER had dealings with. And, as it turns out they are trying to collect a medical debt of only $108 incurred and paid when my child was only 15 years old. She is about to be 20. Addendum and response to response on my review: I have been in touch with a law firm regarding my experience with ARC and ARC's contact with me. While I appreciate your response, it is incorrect.

I called for a receipt. Got put on hold, then told that I wasn’t put on hold, then hung up on. Called back, got sent to a voicemail. Called back again, got hung up on. Called again, got put on hold. At that point, I left my cell on the call that got put on hold, and called on my work phone. Finally got a hold of someone who knew how to do their job and requested a letter for me. My debts with them are completely paid off, so they had no reason to treat me like a second-class-citizen. I understand that since no payments were due no one would be making a commission off of me, but even still, it takes about 30 seconds to send an email. If i treated my customers as such, I wouldn’t have a job. Someone should really evaluate quality of service in their establishment.

Scarlet Holmes is the agent who assisted me in my billing, she was very pleasant and patient with me despite the fact that our first conversation was less than Pleasant on my part. I believed your company was charging me for a bill I had paid with a previous debt collector, and was disrespectful. Despite this when I reconnected with Holmes again and explained myself with an apology, she kindly accepted my apology and even went so far as to drop late fees if I could make my payments on time. Showing that despite the stressful workplace, the agents were willing to work with me professionally and respectfully. And I believe this speaks volume of the quality of work from this individual and she should be praised for it. I'm now debt free and happy to say I don't have to speak with any more Representatives. Not because your representatives are in anyway unpleasant, but because no one likes debt. With that said a representative who i believed to be a receptionist by the name of Colby helped me finish my last payment in Holmes absence. He was very respectful and out going, taking his time to make sure that my information was correct and accurate. If there is a standard to hold your company to, it would be in their example, and I appreciate the assistance given to me by them.

Called my 14 year old daughters phone. I called number back and they said look for a Britney. I told them we had no idea who that is and to remove the number. They have called since then. Next call will have a lawyer involved.

They will not confirm who they are on the phone until you "verify your name, date of birth" etc.... I called the number back from a different cell phone and masked my number to finally find out what company called me. Shady! I will block ANYONE who will not identify themselves when asked

Unprofessional. I received calls from them asking me to give them personal information without them identifying themselves or for what reason. When I finally worked with them the debt was never settled. They continue to call me and I have told them they should have the information in their system already, so I worked with them again and the information in the system was wrong. Completely wrong address and contact info. I gave them the correct info and told them I have a fax number for my insurance company so you can send the bill over. They said that they cant do that, that I have to contact my insurance company to contact them to tell them they can send the bill. How that makes sense...…. beats me.

They sent me letter saying my husband owe them and we have 30 days to respond to the debt. We responded and ask for legal validation, the respond saying they not required by law to show us validation then they sent me another letter saying I have 30 days to respond from that’s date, Well before the 30 days was up, before I could respond or even work out a payment plan they reported it to the credit bureau. I guess I spooked them with that letter But they just don’t know they are about to get deleted off my credit report because I will be contacting Equifax with proof of what they did I have receipts also from post office with certified mail and return receipt requested boom!

These people put me on collections cause I didn’t pay bills the problem is I have insurance and they fail to find out the truth when I talk to them they told me the hospital had me on self pay when that is a lie cause the hospital got paid by my insurance then I gave them my insurance info they said the going to fix it but haven’t I’m still in collections cause of their mistakes it’s been over a month and still no one in this business has tried to fix it
