Buying a car through the Atlanta Postal Credit Union was the smoothest process I ever experienced. I applied for the loan online. My loan representative was great. Her name was Helen. She paired with a car finder named Brent. Brent was attentive to my needs and found the perfect car with everything I asked for within my budget. The process took about four days. My new car was delivered to my job. I highly recommend anyone use them when it’s time to get a new car. Special thanks to Helen and Brent for making this a wonderful experience.

Let me tell you that APCU is the best place to bank with and do business with when you want to make purchases. They gave me the best interest rate I would ever get from a financial institution! Postal employees and there families should look into becoming a member. This was the best decision I made 3 years ago!!!

Things we learned before/after our parent's DEATH..... Taking care of our parents' estate upon their death. I don't usually post really personal information but I truly feel this could HELP and/or alert someone to take action. PSA: As the saying goes, "Do not put all your eggs in one basket." Keep your money in separate financial institutions. Make sure your parents have a will, trust or some type of LEGAL document in place that will help you manage their affairs upon their death. DO NOT communicate with any financial institutions until you determine what you want to do first so that you can settle the accounts as you see fit. NEVER have your loan accounts and SAVINGS at the same institution. By the way, I need to point out that my mother was a faithful member of the Atlanta Postal Credit Union (APCU) for over 30 years. APCU advised us that upon my mother's death her one auto loan and one small credit card was automatically in default even though she paid ON TIME. The statement "you default when you die" according to an APCU representative, was in my mother's APCU loan documents under the Security section. Please read and understand what that means... especially if you have loans and savings accounts at APCU. Even though my mother paid her loans on time, APCU took (withdrew) money from our joint SAVINGS account to pay the balances on her two loan accounts without consent from the joint holder, beneficiaries or executor. This in my opinion, is bad business practice. Please feel free to share my experience with your friends and family. Hopefully this will never happen to you.🙏🏾🙏🏾

I was very pleased with the APCU process in applying for the auto loan. It was seamless. I applied online and received prequalification of the loan by the second day after I applied. Loan representative kept me abreast of when the process was being worked on and when it was being transferred to the next process loan representative. I recommend APCU for auto loan needs.

Worst place to refinance your home . Took 4 months no calls or calling back a week later . Still haven’t received money back no papers on how to set up new mortgage. Save the headache and run! It’s not worth the stress and aggravation.

APCU started off as professional and cordial, but ended up being the worst decision. I was in the process of buying a car and did a lot of coordination with them to ensure everything was in place before I went car shopping. They said I was approved and I can go ahead and look for cars. Once I had the car to buy, I contacted them thinking this would be a quick turnaround. They delayed the process by days, to only tell me the loan wasn't approved. This caused unnecessary stress and almost ruined the deal. They didn't communicate well and were not honest about the process. Based on my experience, I don't recommend using APCU.

Everyone was very nice And accommodating no matter how many times I called my loan specialist was patient and answered every question I asked and and reassured me on anything I needed reassurance On overall the total experience was very pleasant they could not have been more accommodating to me thank you APCU
