Amscot - The Money Superstore 34th St, St. Petersburg

I cashed my check at this Amscot a few days ago and Nani, one of the employees gave me the world’s nastiest 50 dollar bill. It was only slightly less torn up than it was in this picture, but since it was in my purse, pieces came off. I went to exchange the bill for something nicer looking that would be accepted as payment, but the manager, Leo or whatever his name is adamantly refused, saying that since the bill got worse in my bag, they wouldn’t take it, ignoring that they probably shouldn’t have handed out a bill that was in such terrible condition to begin with. I seriously regret not giving the bill back the day it was given to me. I thought it would be okay to use to pay for my drinks at this bar I go to, since Amscot totally thought it was okay to give to me in that condition, it surely must be fine to give to other establishments, right? This place essentially robbed me of 50 dollars and are completely unapologetic. Don’t give them your business.

As usual got exactly what I wanted, I was using another card with fees for everything, and misplaced my Amscot card, so I needed my account reactivated, a replacement card and my account and routing numbers as I am starting a new job and I want direct deposit. I explained all this to Brandon, his response was "Sure, I can do all that for you ". In and out in 5 minutes. Thank You.

Great customer service. Very friendly. I’m always there for less than 5 minutes. My favorite location.

I use them for all my bill payments.. one down fall is the fact that they do not let you pay by card.

Very bad service they laughed at me in the face for not mastering English.

I walked into this Amscot and there was 2 ppl at the window being helped and there was a man in line without a mask, then in walks 2 more ppl without masks 😷 we will never get a grip on this pandemic when no one is enforcing the mask policy. We're the 2 employees ok with it because they're behind the glass? What about the customers, needless to say I couldn't take it and walked out without getting what I needed.

Only two employees at close to six pm? Line half way out the door. Waited close to twenty minutes before leaving without being helped. I know they cater to less affluent people, but to have such disrespect for your customers is absurd. Taking my business elsewhere from here on.

Cristina is one of the nicest people and always goes above and beyond in customer service ! They care about the customer at this location !
