Amscot - The Money Superstore Causeway Blvd, Brandon

The staff at this location is very disrespectful and very rude. I was not aware that money ordered required identification and sign documentation. After calling corporate they explain that if a money order is over a certain amount identification is needed. what was so hard about telling me this at the window and then I question why don’t you explain this to customers when they come in, I received eye roll and head nodding gestures as if I was being annoying. They need to work on the customer service skills oh shut the place down

The worst experience ever. I went to ask how the cash advance works and instead of the reasons. Paola answering my question she gives me a book and forms to fill out. She stated that I needed a reference and that it could only be a parent or coworker. I mentioned to her that my parents are deceased and I didn't have a coworkers number with me, I could provide one for a sibling and Paola said it had to be a parent or coworker otherwise she couldn't help me. That was the worst customer service ever. I work in customer service for many years, so I know how I should have been treated. I will never go to that amscot ever again.

Worst amscot ever.... My brother came in with his exwife to cash a 8200 tax he advised the black male attending on 6/3 that they would split check in half in 2 separate envelopes.. The ex-wife starts flirting with the teller and he hands her the whole money and she ran out the store with all the money... Come back to talk to the manager Felisha who was here when it happened and she shows no remorse for all the money this crazy psycho just stole from him like she can care less defending her employee after he handed all the money to the wrong person.... Cops will be here soon someone is gng to jail. Gud luck

Working with Felicia was a horrible experience. She was very rude and abruptly hung up the telephone while discussing speaking to management which she said “I am the manager”.

Honestly the worst customer service ever, they don't know what they're doing and on top of that they're rude.

Checked their website about money orders didn’t see anything requiring cash only. Told me to just use their atm which promptly declined my card despite having more than enough money. Free money orders seems too good to be true

Mike and Christine are great. I dont recommend doing business with Felicia...she is very non customer friendly and makes you feel uncomfortable. Do business with Mike and Christine...they will make your day.

If I could do zero stars I would. They advertise currency exchange at the western unions in the Amscot, so we stopped at one to exchange currency and were told they don't do that and it is only available at the airport. Nice advertisement

Terrible service. I had multiple questions regarding one of the services offered. The man I spoke with was quick to give short unhelpful answers so he could return to some trash talking with his coworker. Very unprofessional.

Horrible customer service, extremely slow, and rude. Take the extra 5 minutes and drive to the next location.
