Ameris Bank Ponce De Leon Ave, Atlanta

My mother is disabled. I often use the ATM with her debit card and password to make her deposits as easy as possible. I located this branch on Google on the way back home after filing my annual taxes. The ATM was not available because a commercial customer was ill prepared in the drive thru without a deposit slip. I went inside hoping there was an ATM. A white girl with dark hair offered to assist, but implied I was depositing the check will ill intent because it was twice endorsed with two signatures: my brother and my mother - an account holder. I don’t need Miss Liberal Judgey Goody Two Shoes I Voted for Hillary bank teller insinuating fraudulent activity. Ameris bank is not the same since they took over Fidelity.

This rating is due to Sandra Floyd!!! I had an urgent matter that needed to be handled and Sandra delivered much more than I expected. She went above and beyond to ensure that the matter was handled and closed within the desired timeframe!!! Her efficiency, professionalism and "Can Do" attitude was very refreshing! Sandra has a great personality and is definitely an asset to Ameris Bank and it’s customers.

Every time i go into any branch of Fidelity Bank, I get treated like a friend and not like a client. I get friendly, fast, reliable, professional customer service. The branch manager over at the Ponce De Leon Branch is awesome. His name is Juan, but at any given moment you could speak with Aries, Gerald, Collin or Belin and get out of this world service. Stop by the Ponce De Leon Branch and see for yourselves.

I love Fidelity on Ponce De Leon! The crew is always helpful, so smart, warm and welcoming. A small town feel in a large city bank. Thank you for your help! Juan and Gerald are the BEST!

Absolutely awful mortgage servicing. Would advise any/all against using this institution for your real estate needs. This brand who supposedly prides themselves on being service orientated and "your neighbor" on the basis of their "golden rule" could not care less about the customer. They failed to post a sizeable payment to my account and in turn seem to have lost it and couldn't care less about making things right. Not even the CEO Palmer Proctor is concerned about correcting a serious internal mistake. Quite a shame as in todays day and age you'd hope the "local" bank actually acted like one and not a money hungry big bank.

Why can't all banks and businesses have customer service like Ameris? I chose Ameris because the bankers at every branch are always friendly and genuine. The manager, Gerald, was great. He LISTENED to what I said and actually had a conversation with me - not just obligatory nods. In a desert of impersonal corporate banks Ameris is the oasis. Top notch!

Recently in search of a local bank to open my new business accounts - a quick internet research led to great information on Fidelity. I opted to give them a chance to earn my business. Six months in, I have been more than pleased with their level of service, follow up and genuine care for my needs. I would consider them a bank of the past in how they treat their clients!

So far they’re ok I guess...the branch itself they’ve always been extremely helpful and friendly whenever I’ve went in throughout the last year or so I’ve been banking with them...no complaints there at all. Only thing which makes me think about switching from the bank itself is the extremely limited customer service hours - especially if a charge is declined because of one of those fraud alerts - and it’s legit - can’t do anything at all have to wait to the next day to use it. That’s big to me just wish they had longer customer services hours or at least a way to verify automatically for that problem otherwise Fidelity overall has been great

Both Juan and Gerald went way beyond the call of duty when helping me consolidate all of my various accounts within Fidelity Bank. I had to move several accounts and open a couple of new accounts at Fidelity. They helped me make sure that I was covered by FDIC, etc. They (along with everyone else at the Ponce Branch) always provides individual top notch service.

At the risk of sounding ridiculous I always have fun visiting this bank. The tellers are really nice and funny. The waiting area is spacious and they have fun music playing. This would be a great branch to visit with small children.
