I have worked with American IRA over the past 5 years in the management of Coverdell Educational Savings Accounts for my children. When I was considering a self directed IRA they responded to my questions quickly and seemingly informatively. Once I became a client, their responsiveness has been next to non existent. Processing of distributions has been glacial and there is where communication about where things are in the process and when (if?) funds will reach my bank account.
