I recently refinanced my auto loan with American One. Matthew Heffernan was professional, efficient and thoroughly explained everything to me. He helped me get the lowest interest rate possible while providing very personal service. I highly recommend American One for auto loan refinancing! !

The representative I had was phenomenal. She explained everything in detail, super friendly atmosphere. And very kid friendly. I 100% recommend to his branch to anyone!

For my first time creating a banking account, this was the perfect place. The staff was extremely kind, patient, and understanding. I didn't feel uncomfortable at all, and I really enjoyed the experience. I definitely recommend it for first time bankers.

Worst experience ever. They took 12 overdraft fees from me and then it spiraled into 35 fees and it took me 3months to get them to give back the original 12. They did admit the mistake and gave me back 12. But its been a year now and still haven't got back the 23 remaining fees. And I wouldn't have got them if they would have left my money alone. Biggest crooks I've had the misfortune of meeting . 23 × 25 = -$575.00 & almost ruined my relationship with my future wife. These people should be ashamed of themselves and if it was flipped,..... I'd be in trouble for sure %%100!!!

American 1 has always been there for me and my family. A phone call to buy my wife a car. The same when I bought a car. I got pre-approved, found my car then went to the head of the line. They always meet my financial needs and make it seem so easy. Today it was a signature loan for a large shed. Fast and simple. Thank you Nick @ the North Street Branch for taking good care of me.

A teller at my American 1 C.U. at the North Street branch advised me recently that I could refinance my current car loan at a significantly lower interest rate and even be put in drawing to possibly pay off up to a $15,000. loan. Today I met with Keith Hurley, Member Service Specialist at the branch, and he quickly and efficiently refinanced my current loan from 4.250% to 1.590%, I am delighted! I only regret that I did not finance my car originally with American 1 Credit Union. Thank you Keith, for your friendly and helpful service through American 1 Credit Union.

Spoke to a Jason Vraun a week or so back about a loan. What an awful experience. I have never been made to feel so inferior to a man. He insulted my line of education- social work. And continued to insult my ability to climb the economic ladder, as a woman, in the workforce. Ultimately questioned my ability to pay my loan, not based on my socioeconomic status, but because of my line of work. If it would not effect my credit negatively, I would close my accounts immediately. I will not being further business with American one.

From an amazing CSR staff (Ashley, Brenda, Emily, and Dawn to be specific), to amazing medical staff. I couldn’t be more proud to call this place my Doctor’s office. I am a CSR for another family medicine, and being open about my health concerns has always proven troublesome for me. I had an appointment with Toni F., and she was so kind and easy to talk with. We discussed my health concerns, and she was able to get me in to check my thyroid for cancer, which thank goodness it was benign. Leading up to the results I was anxious, and she went above and beyond to reassure me through the process. I’ve spoke with the listed csrs before and every time i get one of them i know for FACT i am in good hands. Every step of the process i aas greeted with compassion, a smiling face, and reassurance I wasn’t alone no matter what I faced. North street is where healthcare is made easy, and your worries are handled with compassion and kindness. This place goes above and beyond because they simply have BIG HEARTS for their patients.

I've been working with American 1 since I retired a few years ago. Recently I was T-boned while traveling in my car I just bought in December. This was a bummer because I loved my car so much. I contacted them to let them know of it's demise. Everything I asked them, they supplied me the information and explained each process. They set me up with Angie at the Spring Arbor Branch Office. She imade getting my new car so easy, and the interest rate was excellent. She let me know what I could spend to stay in my payment range, and I set about on the hard part...Finding the right replacement. Once I did, I had it in my drive within just a few days. I recommend you start at American 1 for the next vehicle purchase you make.

This was the best experience I have ever had when it comes to getting a loan or any money needs. I have always wondered if American 1 was a good credit union. I now believe that they are the best. Especially this branch. Every employee that works here really does everything in their power to help you with anything. I walked in to get an account they were very attentive and greeted me as soon as i walked in the door. I got to meet with someone less than 10 mins after i got there and when they took me back they were very quick and efficient and i had a debit card that same day. It was a very comfortable and pleasant experience.
