Poor customer service and unprofessional style for a month. I waited for the car documents after paying the loan for a whole month and I did not get the car papers. I think the manager is drinking coffee. It is one of the worst banks I have dealt with. I do not advise anyone to deal with them, especially this place.

Today I had such great experience at America first credit Union. Whitney was such an amazing person, she helped me solve the issues I had. She was very patient and understanding of the situation. She deserve to be the super star of the month!

    Response from the owner

Worst customer service I have experienced!! I went in today and the front end supervisor was so rude to me! She does not care about about the customers. I have never experienced something like this at any American First credit union I been to before.

    Response from the owner

Hi Judith, we apologize for the frustration. We will pass over this information internally as well as following up with the branch.

I recently visited this branch and it was awful. The teller, Ryon, lacked any sense of social skills and took an inordinate amount of time to complete a transaction. Not to mention that his professional appearance was far from that. I would expect a credit union representative to look like they are clean.

I've been banking here for about 5 years and have personal, joint and business accounts here. Excellent customer service at all times: they're a friendly group of people to interact with. I'd happily choose AFCU again if given the choice.

The fees at this credit Union are absolutely ridiculous. Not to mention they have often deposited checks for my business into another business with a similar name. When I found the error and brought it to their attention they never apologized and made me feel like it was a huge inconvenience for them. I honestly feel like they punish people for being poor.

    Response from the owner

Hi Vance, we apologize for any frustration.

Found they had some decent used car loan rates so decided to take the plunge. Had to set up a savings account in order to have an auto loan. Was told they'd put the first $1 and was told you only need a $1 to keep the account. Did not transfer anything else as my current bank has a much higher savings return. The bank never placed the $1 in the account and started receiving emails my account was about to close due to being $0 balance. I added some money to the account. When paying for a car loan, they allow you to transfer money to this account to pay the bill, for a $8 fee each time. Now getting emails saying they don't have proof of insurance on my vehicle, stating my bill will increase as they will put insurance on my car for me. Though my insurance agent has now sent to them three times. Contacted the initial rep who set up the loan and said all I needed was to send him the policy number and contact information (which I had already done when getting the loan). I did, haven't heard back in over a week while still getting these emails and having my insurance agent send a fourth time. The extra charges and hassles have not been worth the lower loan rate thus far. Hopefully this will help others with a similar situation.

Extremely frustrated by the inconsistent information we are being given by the employees of this credit union. Last night we were help by a young man named Spencer, who was very nice, but unfortunately the policy he was trying to impalement is extremely flawed. We were trying to pick up some rolls of the new quarters and were told that you had to be on a list. we were not informed before hand that we needed to be on a list of any kind and we have been to many of the America First Credit Unions multiple times a month or even every week. we have found that each location is different on the policy. Some locations are first come first served which I believe is the best way, where as some you have to be on some list that more then half the employees do not even know about. It is ridiculous! It is extremely frustrating for customers to have such inconstant and senseless policy.

I've banked with this branch for about 5 or 6 years and they have always given me grief!! When I opened my account I wasn't able to get an ATM card for reasons I xocou never understand! That is why you open an account right!!!? Anyway so I just try to ignore that! When you bank with a bank you look at what the bank CAN offer you! They we're very rude and not very easy to deal with during all these years I don't know why I have banked with them for so many years I wanted to open an account with them because I heard they where a wonderful bank that had wonderful customer service! I was soon to find out that was totally not my experience with this bank or this branch!!! 😫 A little while later I needed a ATM card really bad I called them and basically had to beg for a card like why!? Anyway I was told at first that I would be able to get a ATM card so I was so excited that I could finally have a card anyway I got a letter in the mail stating that I was denied the card and it wasn't coming! 😡 So again I started to get really upset I called customer service they weren't helpful at all and very rude.... I finally asked to speak with a manager where I was finally tooken care of she kindly sent me a ATM card which I was extremely grateful for I went thru alot just for a card!!!!!! Mind you this is after I banked with them for a couple of years!!!! 😡😡 So after that I went on didn't have really any issues until I applied for an auto loan they flat out denied me said I had caused the company a loss! This is just ridiculous because first off I have NEVER EVER CAUSED YOU GUYS A LOSS WHAT SO EVER!!! AND IF ANYTHING YOU GUYS NEVER where polite I felt very judged and you guys where very snobby!!!! I've dealt with this for much to long!!!!! I will be closing all my accounts with America First! Most worst customer service and bank I have ever banked with! I would advise you not to waist your time with them!

My rating is for a customer service call with a representative named Angie. I called with a question about a transaction on my account. Although she answered my question. She was quite rude, judgemental & she hung up on me without notice.

    Response from the owner

Hi Kiya, we apologize for the frustration. We will be following up with this location.
